This is the last Will and Testament of me Fanny Ibbotson of Dover in the County of Kent Spinster

It is my particular desire that my funeral may be as little expensive as possible wishing to be buried in the Parish in which I happen to die and if in Dover to be laid near my late Sister Grace Ibbotson my wish being that my funeral may be conducted in a similar manner to hers
I desire that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences may be paid by my executors hereinafter named as soon as conveniently may be after my decease

I give and bequeath to my dear brother Robert Ibbotson and his heirs executors and administrators for his own absolute use and benefit if he shall be living at the time of my decease all the real and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever which I shall die seized or possessed of or entitled to for any estate or interest whatever and which is not in this my Will or by any Codicil or Codicils hereto disposed of
But if my said brother shall die in my lifetime then I give devise and bequeath the same real and personal property to his son my nephew Samuel Kerr Ibbotson and his heirs executors and administrators for his own absolute use and benefit if he shall be living at the time of my decease
and if both my said brother and his son shall die in my life time then I give devise and bequeath the same real and personal property to my sister Eliza Susannah Ibbotson and my nieces Elvira Meade the Wife of John Meade of Earsham House in the County of Norfolk Esquire and Georgiana Fanny Smith the Wife of Charles Manley Smith of the Inner Temple London Esquire Barrister at Law and their heirs respectively or to such of them as shall be living at the time of my decease equally to be divided between them as tenants in common

I direct that my executors hereinafter named shall immediately after my decease take steps to terminate the tenancy of the house I now occupy No 2 Camden Crescent Dover and it is my Wish that until the house can be given up to the landlord it should be let furnished the rent after payment of expences to form part of my residuary estate but as there may be sufficiency in carrying out my wishes in this respect I leave the matter to the uncontrolled discretion of my executors when the house is given up to the landlord the household furniture plate linen china wines liquors and stores will fall into and form part of my personal residuary estate

And I give and bequeath the following legacies
To my sister Eliza Susannah Ibbotson my Amethyst and Gold Bracelet and my hair Chain of Lady ......�s Hair
To my said niece Elvira Meade my Maltese Gold Broach
To my said niece and Goddaughter Georgiana Fanny Smith my Russia Leather Trinket box and its contents namely a large Cameo Brooch a hair bracelet with pearl clasp a hair bracelet serpents head and a ....... brooch with her fathers and my hair also my........ shawl her father�s gift to me and my black and gold work box and its contents
to my nephew Samuel Kerr Ibbotson my diamond Ring
To my faithful servant and nurse Anne Wilson if in my service at the time of my decease the legacy or sum of five pounds out of which she may buy mourning if she has none and also such part of my wearing apparel as is not otherwise disposed of by this my Will or any Codicil thereto

and lastly I appoint the said Robert Ibbotson Samuel Kerr Ibbotson and Charles Manley Smith Executors of this my Will
And I give and bequeath to the said Charles Manley Smith for his trouble as executor the legacy or sum of nineteen Guineas

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven Fanny Ibbotson
