In the name of God Amen The Seaven and twentieth daye of September Anno dini 1634 In the tenth yeare of the raigne of or Sovraigne Lord Charles by the grace of God Kinge of England Scotland Fraunce & Ireland defender of the faith &.
I Jane Idley of Eastry in the Countie of Kent Widdowe doe make this my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of God my creator sanctifier and Redeemer, and my bodye to the ground from whence it was taken, to be buryed w[i]thin the p[ar]ish Church of Eastry abovesaid, hard by the Tombe or grave of my late husband William Idly deceased, in sure and certaine hope of my Resurrection unto eternall life, and that by the merits and bitter passion of my onely lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Item my debts and funerall expences being first satisfied and paid I give and bequeath unto the poore people of the said pish of Eastry Twenty shillings of lawfull money of England to be distributed att the discretion of my Executors heereafter named wthin one yeare next after my decease

Item I will and bequeath Unto my daughter Mary Browne Three pownds of like lawfull money to be paid her by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give Unto the three Children of my said daughter Mary Browne Five shillings a peece of like money to be paid them by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto my daughter Jane Howland Fower pounds of like money and my second gowne and kertle to be paid and delivered her by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto the fower Children of my said daughter Jane Howland Five shillings a peece of like money

Item I give to my daughter Elizabeth Fryer Fower pounds of like money and my best gowne and my best petticoate and my riding suite to be paid and delivered her by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give Unto the three Children of my said daughter Elizabeth Fryer Tenne shillings a peece of like money to be paid them by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto the twoe daughters of my said daughter Elizabeth Fryer and to each of them twoe Crosse cloathes and one Coife a peece

Item I give unto Katherine Joade my daughter Fower pounds of like money to be paid her by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease by my Executor
Item I give Unto the three Children of my said daughter Joade Tenne shillings a peece be paid them by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto the twoe Children of Sander Ewell wch hee had by my daughter Sarah Ewell deceased and to each of them Tenne shillings of like money to be paid them by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto Mary one of the Children of my said daughter Sarah deceased, one sowed Ruffe, one coife, one Crosse cloath, one smock and one Apron

Item I give Unto the twoe Children of Thomas Preston wch hee had by my daughter Margarett and to each of them Tenne shillings of like money to be paid them by my Executor wthin one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto my twoe said daughters Marye and Jane all the residue of my woollen wearinge apparel to be equallie devided betweene them
Item I give unto my said three daughters Mary Jane and Elizabeth All the residue of my wearing linnen apparrell to be equallie devided betweene them

All the Residue of my goods and Chattells whatsoever and wheresoever not allreadie by this my last Will and Testament given and bequeathed I give and bequeath Unto my sonne Edward Idley whome I doe make and ordayne my onely whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament
And doe heereby Revoke disannull annihilate and make Voide All and every other former Wills and testaments Whatsoever by mee made

Notes:
Jane Idley, Widow of William, Gent(leman), was buried 20th January 1636 [1636/37] at St. Mary the Blessed Virgin, Eastry, Kent.
Husband William Idley was buried there on 24th April 1616.
SS Peter & Paul, Eythorne: Mr. William Idley of the parish of Hearne and Mrs. Jane Boyse of Eythorne were married the 8 of Januarie 1589/90.
Daughter Mary Idlye married Jhon Browne 14th May 1618 at St. Martin, Herne, Kent.
Daughter Jane Idley, aged 24, singlewoman of St. Nicholas Atwade, d. of William Idley of Eastry, deceased, married Adrian Howland, 30, Bricklayer, Bachelor of St. Mary Magdalene, Canterbury, at her own government, on 4th February 1621 at St. Alphage, Canterbury, Kent, by Licence.
Daughter Elizabeth Idley married William Fryer 20th November 1621, at Eastry, Kent.
Daughter Katherine Idley married William Joade on 13th March 1627/28 at St. Mary, Chartham
Daughter Sarah Idley married Alexander Ewell 23rd May 1614 at Eastry.
Daughter Margaret Idlye married Thomas Preston 17th October 1625, at St. Martin, Herne, Kent.
