In the Name of God Amen this twelfth day of February One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty three
Shadrach Illden of Maidstone in the County of Kent being Weak in Body but in Perfect Mind and Memory Praise be to God Almighty for the
same Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in Writing in manner and form following, that is to say,
First I Recommend my Soul into hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping through the Merits of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to
have Everlasting life
and my Body I commit to the Earth to be Decently Interred at the Discretion of Elizabeth Illden my
beloved Wife whom I make my Heir and my Executrix
First I Give unto Elizabeth my Wife my three Tenements lying in the Borough of Westre now in the Occupation of John Usher, John
Boswell and Thomas Lane to her and her Heirs for ever
And Also I Give unto Elizabeth my beloved Wife all my Moveables that I Shall have at my Decease
whom I make my whole and Sole Heir and Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
contained in One Sheet of Paper set my hand and Seal the Day and Year first above written by me Shadrach Illden
