Imprimis I give and bequeath to my loving son James Jarvis and to his heirs and assigns forever all that my Butchers Shopp with the appurrt'anence's when and as soon as he shall attain his full age of one and twenty years and in the mean tyme I will and direct that my Executors hereinafter mentioned shall have and enjoy the same and receive and take the rents and profitts thereof for and toward the educating and bringing up of my children giving account thereof with the rest of my estate and also my will and mind is that the threescore pounds which is to be paid for the of ? of Jane my loving Wife be well & truly paid and deducted according to the purport of the conditions of the Bond by me given for that purpose
Item I give and bequeath unto my said son James Jarvis the sum of ten pounds of good and lawfull money of England to be paid to him by my Executors hereinafter mentioned at his full age of one and twenty years
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Ann Jarvis the like sum of ten pounds to be like wise paid her by my Executors hereinafter mentioned at her full age of one and twenty years
Item I give and bequeath to my Daughter Mary Jarvis the like sum of ten pounds to be like wise paid her by my Executors hereinafter mentioned at her full age of one and twenty years
Item I give and bequeath to my Son George Jarvis the like sum of ten pounds to be like wise paid him by my executors hereinafter mentioned at his full age of one and twenty years.
Item as to the rest and remainder of all and every my goods chattells and h'dditts not herein before bequeathed after my Debts and Dues my funeral expenses and the charges of the probate of this my Last will and Testament are paid satisfied and deducted My will and Mind is that my Executors therein after mentioned shall take and posses themselves of the same and therewith and with the Rents and profitts of my said shop and other benefitts that may thereby arise to educate bring up my four children James Ann Mary and George and after they shall be brought all up as aforesaid my desire is that what shall remaine of my said estate shall be equally divided among all my said children my Executors being allowed all just reasonable costs charges and expenses as well in educating and bringing up my children as aforesaid as otherwise in executing this my will upon a just attempt those of being given and what shall for remaine as aforesaid I desire may be paid them? or the survivor or survivors of them when he she or they shall accomplish the full age of one and twenty years And therefore I give and devise the fairs? accordingly
And I hereby make ordain
constitute and appoint Jane my said Loving Wife and In Mr William Blackmore
Junior of Tenterden aforesaid Joynt Executors of this my Last Will and
Testament desiring my Loving Brother in Law John Wilkes and my loving friend
John Tilden to be caring and assisting to them in manageing my business and
therefore I appoint them my Overseers to see this my will Ex'act'ely?
p'er'formed and executed and Lastly I hereby revoke and make void all former
and other wills and Testaments In witness whereof I the said James Jarvis
to this of pap'er' whereof my will doth consist have subscribed my hand and
sett my seal the day and yeare above written James Jarvis Signed Sealed
Published and Declared by the aforesaid James Jarvis to be his last will and
testament in the p're'sence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as
witnesses in the P're'sence of the said Testator
