In the Name of God Amen I Edward Jeal of the parish of Saint Mary Cray in the County of Kent Yeoman being in indifferent health of Body but of sound and disposing Mind and Memory and understanding (praised be to God for the same) considering the uncertainty of this moral Life do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and most Principally I resign my immortal soul to Almighty God my Creator hoping to receive full and free Pardon and Forgiveness of all my Sins and to inherit Everlasting Life in the Kingdom of Glory and through the alone Merits and Mediation of my blessed Redeemer and Saviour Jesus Christ and my Body I commit to the Earth to be decently of my Executor or his Guardians hereinafter named
And as for such Worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to bless me withall here upon Earth I give devise and bequeath the same as follows

First I will and direct that all my Just Debts Funeral Expences and the Probate of this my last Will and Testament shall be fully paid by my Executor or his Guardians hereinafter named

Also I give devise and bequeath unto my loving Wife Elizabeth Jeal the sum of Forty pounds p Annum till my son Edward Jeal comes of Age Twenty five pounds P Annum till my Daughter Elizabeth Jeal comes of Age and after my daughter comes of Age I will and bequeath unto my loving Wife Fifteen pounds P Annum the time of her natural Life

Also I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Jeal one Messuage or Tenement Land and Premises with all and every of the Appurtenances situate lying and being in the parish of Saint Mary Cray in the County of Kent his Heirs and Assigns for ever more

Also I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Jeal the sum of Four hundred pounds when she comes of Age
Also I give and bequeath unto my Brother Thomas Jeal the sum of Three hundred pounds to be paid him one Month after my decease

Also if my Daughter Elizabeth Jeal should die without Issue I bequeath it to my Son Edward Jeal and his Heirs
Also if my Son Edward Jeal should dye without Issue I bequeath it unto my Daughter and her Heirs
Also if my Son and Daughter both dieth without Heirs I will and bequeath it unto my aforesaid Brother Thomas Jeal and his Heirs for ever more

And also I do appoint my Wife Elizabeth Jeal and Thomas Jeal aforesaid to be in Trust and full Power to see my Will Executed till my Children comes of Age
And also full Power to make a Sale of all my Stock and put the money into the Stocks for the use of all my Children Except what Household Furniture my Wife is willing to have at Saint Mary Cray And also what Household Furniture my Brother Thomas wanteth at Orpington for the Trouble of seeing my Will Executed till my Children comes of Age

Also I give devise and bequeath unto my Son Edward Jeal the rest and residue of my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality may be or Consist in unto my said Son his Executors Administrators for ever more

Also I do nominate and appoint my said Son Edward Jeal full and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament
And lastly I do hereby revoke annul and make void all former Will or Wills by me at any time heretofore made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament

whereof I the said Edward Jeal have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this eleventh day of March in the ninth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty nine Edward Jeal
signed and sealed in the presence of us
