In the name of god Amen. I John Jekyn of Kingshill in the county of Kent weake in bodie but of perfect memorie god be praysed committ my soule unto allmightie god and my bodie to christian buriall - this -x th day of September 1586 do declare in wordes this to be my last will and testament as following

I will and bequeath all my goodds and chattells to Alice my wife she paying my debts and funerall chardgs
And I made the same Alice my wife sole executrix of this my last will and testament
