In the name of God Amen I John Jeken of Oxney in the County of Kent Gentleman being in good health of body and of Sound and perfect mind and memory praised be God therefore Doe make and ordaine this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme as followeth for I am an aged man and know not how soone my Change may Come
First I Commend my Soule to God who gave it me and my body to the Earth from whence it came to be decently interred at the discretion of my two sonnes hereinafter named And as to my Worldly Estate I will give devise and bequeath the same as followeth (that is to say)

First I doe give unto my four Daughters named Anne wife of John Pettit Elizabeth wife of William Christian Martha the wife of Daniel Jarvis and Jane the wife of Lawrence Baker the summe of three pounds apeece of lawfull money of Great Britaine and noe more
Item I doe give unto my sonn Valentine Jeken my Mare which I usually ride on.

And all the rest and residue of my goods and Chattels Creditts Cattle Stocke and Cropp and personall whatsoever I doe give and bequeath unto my sonn James Jeken and his Executors Administrators and Assignes he paying defraying and discharging all my just Debts, and all my aforesaid Legacies and funerall Charges and Charges of probate of this my last Will and Testament
for which end and purpose I doe make him Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament and doe order and appoint him to pay the said severall Legacies hereby given to my said four Daughters within one Weeke next after my decease.

And I doe hereby nomminate and appoint my sonn Valentine Jeken aforenamed Overseere of this my last Will and Testament requiring him to be aiding and assisting to his said Brother in the Execution thereof

And as for my lands and Tenements whereof I am seized in Fee Simple to the use of me and my heirs being two and twenty acres more or lesse with the appurtenances lying and being in Oxney aforesaid or elswhere in the County of Kent I doe give devise and bequeath the same unto my aforesaid Sonn James Jeken and to his heires and assignes forever

And as to the Parsonage of Oxney with all the lands and Tenements thereunto belonging now in my owne possesion and occupation and where unto as to one Moietie thereof I am and shall be fully Entitled unto after the decease of my Daughter in Lawe Martha the widdow of my late sonn John Jeken deceased I doe give and bequeath the same And all my right Title interest use possession property possibility Reversion Claime and demand whatsoever therein I doe Will give and bequeath the same unto my sonn James Jeken and to his Executors Administrators and Assignes.

And even soe I conclude this my last Will and Testament.
In Witnes whereof I the said John Jeken have hereunto sett my hand and Seale Dated the second day of December Anno Domini One thousand seven hundred and Nineteene. And in the sixth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith etc. 1719:

Signed Sealed published and declared by the aforesaid John Jeken to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereunto in the presence of the said Testator (after the words Will and Testament were twice interlyned and alsoe the words as to one Moyetie thereof, therein were alsoe interlined) as appeareth in the presence of
