Whereby I give and Bequeath unto my Grandson John Jell son of my late son Richard Jell deceased for his absolute use and benefit the sum of fifty pounds sterling to be paid him within twelve months next after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto and equally between and among my five Grandchildren namely Elizabeth Ann, Sarah Susanna, Mary Ann, Susanna White and John Rogers the children of my late son John Jell deceased the sum of Fifty Pounds of lawful British money their respective share therein to be paid when and as they ????? attain the full age of twenty one years and in the Case of the death of either of them under that age I give and bequeath the part or share of him her or them so dying unto the survivor and survivors of them if more than one to be equally divided between such survivors
and I give and devise unto my
Daughter Susanna the wife of Thomas Cavell of Deal in the said County of Kent
Schoolmaster all those my five several pieces or parcels of land containing together
by estimation? Four acres and two roods more or less and also all that my piece of Garden
Ground with the Hereditaments and appurtenances thereto? belonging situate lying
and being in the Parish of Saint Margarets and Cliffe in the said County of Kent and
now in the tenure or occupation of Thomas George to hold the same lands Garden
Ground and hereditaments with their appurtenance unto my said daughter Susanna
and to her heirs and assigns? for ever
and I give to and bequeath to my said daughter
Susanne all my household furniture plate linen china and effects
the residue and remainder of my monies funds securities for money and all other my personal
property and effects that I shall be possessed of or entitled unto at the time of my
decease to hold unto her my said daughter to and for her own sole and absolute use
and benefit subject ???? to the payment thereout of all and every my just debt funeral
and testamentary expenses
and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint the said
Thomas Cavill sole executor of this my will and hereby revoke and make void all
former wills by me made in witness? whereof I the said Richard Jell the Testator have to
this my last will and Testament set my hand and seal the Twenty First day of
September in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and twenty seven �
Richard Jell. Signed and published and declared by the said Richard Jell the Testator
as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us? who? at his request in his
presence and in the presence of each other have herewith subscribed our names as
witnesses.

The before registered will of Richard Jell, deceased was proved the Eighth Day of October 1829 before the Reverand John Peechy Francis Clerk Surrogate To the worshipful Sir Herbert Jenner Knight Doctor of Law Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constitute by the oath of Thomas Cavill the sole Executor named in the said will he being first sworn duly to perform the same.
