In the Name of God Amen the Sixth day of May Anno dini 1621 and in the Nyneteenth yeare of the reigne of our Sovreigne Lord James by the grace of God of England Frannce and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith &c. and of Scotland the Foure and Fortith
I Edward Jervys of Tenterden in the County of Kent Gent[leman] sicke and weake in body but of sounde and p[er]fect memory (praised be almightie God therefore) doe ordeyne and make this my last will and testam[en]t in manner and forme following
First and principally I Comend my soule unto Almightie God my Creator hopeing (through) the meritts and pretious bloodshedding of Jesus Christ my only Savior and redeemer I shall have fre(e) pardon of all my sinnes And my body I Commend unto the earth whereof it was first made in apparell [apparent?] hope that at the generall resurrection both body and soule shalbe united and be made an Inheritor of that heavenly Kingdome prpared for all the elect in Christ

Item I give and bequeath unto Jane Jervis the daughter of my late brother Thomas Jervis deceased Twenty pounds to be paied unto her at her age of Eighteene yeares
Item I give and bequeath Edward Jarvis my Godsonne, sonne of William Jervis Twenty pounds to be paid unto him at his age of one and Twenty yeares
Item I give and bequeath unto George Thorpe of Tenterden my Cloak doublett and hose

The residue of my goods and Chattells whatsoever not before bequeathed I give and bequeath unto my two loveing Sisters Thomasine the wife of Richard Roads and Sara the wife of George Page to be equally divided betweene them and their Children
And I ordeyne and make the saide Thomasine Roades and Sara Page my sisters Executors of this my last will and testament

In Witnes whereof I have published and declared this to be my last will and testament and have hereunto subscribed my name in the prsence of
