In the name of God Amen I James Jeudwin of the Parish of St Mildred in the City of Canterbury Silkweaver being in good health of Body and of sound and Perfect mind and memory (God be praised therefore) But considering the Certainty of Death and the uncertainty of the time thereof Do make and Ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say
First and principally I Commend my Soul to God that gave it And my Body I Commit to the Earth to be decently Interred at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named And as for my Worldly Goods and Estate I give devise and dispose of the same in the following manner

Imprimis I give and devise All that my Moiety or half part of all these several Messuages or Tenements with the Gardens and Appurtenances thereunto belonging Situate and being in the Parish of St Mildred aforesaid in the said City of Canterbury in or near a certain Street there called Stour Street And also one Piece of a Garden adjoyning to the house of the said James Jeudwine now in the Occupation of Mr Rest Fenner Brewer And the rest of the Messuages or Tenements now in the Occupation of my Son Peter Jeudwine Francis Villier Edward Riquebourg and of me the said James Jeudwine And also all other my Lands and Tenements wtsoever unto my Dear Wife Mary Jeudwin and her Assigns for and during the term of her Natural Life

and from and after her decease I give and devise the said Moiety and Premises unto my Son Peter Jeudwin and my three Daughters Jane Jeudwin Easter the Wife of Thomas Marble and Judith the Wife of the above named Edward Ricquebourg And to their several and respective Heirs and Assigns for ever equally to be divided among them and to take as Tenants in Common and not as Joynt tenants

Item I further give unto my said Wife the use of all my Household Goods and other Goods and Chattells for and during the term of her Natural Life And from and after the Decease of my said Wife I give and bequeath the same unto my said Children Peter Jane Easter and Judith equally to be divided among them Share and Share alike

And I do make nominate and appoint the said Mary my Wife to be the Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament
And Lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me heretofore made and do declare this present Writing containing One Sheet of Paper to be my last Will and Testament
