will & mynd is the Survivors shall hereatt [inherit] each their portion equallie to be devided between them

Item I give unto William Joade the eldest sonne of my brother Andrew Joade the some of ten shillings to be paid unto him when he shall
come to the adge of one and twenty yeeres

unto him when he shall come to the age of one and twenty yeeres
Item my will and mynd is that my executrix shall pay the twenty shillings before bequeathed
Item I give and bequeath unto Alice Joade my goddaughter the some of ten shillings to be paid unto her when she shall Come to the adge of

Item I give and bequeath the residue of (my) brothers daughters the some of five shillings a peece of good & lawfull mony of England to be paid
by my executrix when they shall Come to the adge of twenty yeeres
Item my will and mynd is that yf yt please God my wyfe be wth child wth a man child then I will he shall have my houses and lands at Herne to him and his heires in fee simple for ever, but yf yt shall happen to be a maid then I will she shall have the somme of ten pounds of good and lawfull mony of England to be paid unto her by my executrix when she shall Come to the adge of eighteen yeeres or at her day of mariadge wch shall happen to come first
Item my will and mynd is that Bennet my wyfe shall have the profitts of all my lands towards the good bringing up of my Children till the youngest of them come to the age (of) eighteen yeeres
Item I give unto Thomas Rose the sonne of my brother Henry Rose the some of twenty shillings
Item I do give and bequeath unto all the residue of my Brother Roses Chyldren wch he hath by my Sister the some of five shillings apeece to be
paid by my executrix when they shall Come to the adge of one & twenty yeeres
Item I give and bequeath unto my Brother Joyes? Chyldren the some of five shillings a peece to be paid unto them when they shall Come to
the adge of one and twenty yeeres by my executrix
All the residue of my goods unbequeathed y debts and legacies paid I give unto Bennett my wyfe whom I do make my whole executrix of this my

Nicholas Joade married Bennet Tucker 24 Oct 1598 at Holy Cross, Goodnestone (near Sandwich), Kent.
Wife Bennet Joade was to marry at least twice more, firstly:
Anthony Terry of Minster (in Thanet) married Bennett Joade also of Minster on 11 Dec 1608 at Monkton, by Licence.
Also Bennet Terry of Goodnestone-next-Wingham married Thomas Rigden of the same place on 5 Jul 1613 at Goodnestone-next-Wingham, Kent.
Thomas Neame, 24, Bachelor, Yeoman of Woodnesborough married Rebecca Joade, 24, singlewoman of Goodnestone next Wingham, whose mother Bennet
Rigden alias Joade, wife of Thomas Rigden of Elham, consents, as is attested by William Tucker of Goodnestone aforesaid, Yeoman, on 8th June 1624
at St. Mary Magdalene, Canterbury, Kent. [Canterbury Marriage Licences, Vol II, 1619-1660].
Henry Rose married Nicholas's Sister Johana Joade on 23 Sep 1595 at All Saints, Birchington, Kent.
