In the name of God Amen the two and twentieth day of January in the sixe and thirtieth yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord Charles the second by the grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King defender of the faith etc. Anno dini 1684
I John Jull of Woodnesborow als. Winsborough in the County of Kent Yeoman being sicke and weake in body but of sound and perfect minde and memory (thankes be given unto Allmighty God for the same) do make and declare this my last will and Testament in manner and forme following
Impris I comend my soul into the hands of Allmighty God my maker hopeing assuredly through the meritts and moderacon of Jesus Christ my Redeemer to live with him eternally after this my mortall life shalbe ended And my body to the earth decently to be interred at the discrecon of my Executors here after named And as touching the disposicon of that worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased God to blesse me I give and dispose the same as followeth

First I give to the poore people of the parish of Woodnesborough aforesaid Forty shillings to be distributed amongst them at the discrecon of my wife and Executors
Item I give unto my daughters Jane and Katherine but five shillings apeece they haveing porcons out (of) my estate already paid and secured to be paid

Item I give unto Katherine my dearly beloved wife the sume of twelve pounds a yeare for and during the terme of her naturall life out of my personal estate to be paid her quarterly by my Executors at the fower most usuall feast dayes or terme of payment in the yeare, that is to say, at the feast dayes of the Anunciacon of the blessed virgin Mary; the Nativity of St. John the Baptist; St. Michael th’Archangell and the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ by even and equall porcons, the first payment thereof to beginn and to be made at the first of the said feast dayes that shall first and next happen and come after my decease
Item I give unto her my said wife my best bedd and bedstedle furnished and all other household goods fitt and necessary for her use to furnish two roomes togeather with five pounds of good lawfull mony of England

Item I give and bequeath unto my sonnes Stephen Jull and John Jull all the rest of my goods, cattle, corne, shipping and psnall [personal] Estate whatsoever equally to be divided betweene them, they paying my debts & legacyes
And I doe make them my said sonnes joynt Executors of this my last will and Testament

This is the last will and Testament of me the said John Jull made and declared the aforesaid two and twentieth day of January Anno Dini 1684/85 touching the disposicon of all and singuler my Messuages lands Tennements and hereditaments whatsoever

And first I give and devise all the same unto the said Katherine my my loveing wife for and dureing the terme of her naturall life and from and after her decease I give and devise all the same to my said two sonnes Stephen Jull and John Jull their heires and assigns for ever equally to be divided betweene them

Item I nominate and desire my loveing friennds and neighbours John Harrison and Richard Harvey to be Overseers to this my will and to be adviseing and assisting to my Executors in the managing of their affaires and do charge my sonnes to be dutifull and obedient to their mother

In Witnes whereof to this my last will and Testament in two sheetes of paper conteyned to the first sheete thereof my hand have sett and to this second last sheete thereof my hand sealed have sett dated the day and yeare first above written

Notes:
John Jull married Cath Butler 13th September 1653 at St. Mildred, Canterbury, Kent.
Son Steven was christened 14th July 1654 at St. Clement, Sandwich, to John and Katheren.
Daughter Jane was christened on 29th April 1659 there to John and Katheren.
Daughter Katheren was christened there on 1st October 1661 to John and Katheren.
Son John was christened there in 11th Jan 1665 to John and Katharine.
