In the name of God Amen The xiijth daye of November and in the yere of our Lorde God 1557
I John Kempe of the pishe of Braborne in the countie of Kente sicke in bodie and in p�fecte remembrance thanks be to God do ordeine and make this my last testament and will in forme and manr [manner] hereafter followinge
First I bequethe my sowle unto Allmightie God my maker and redimr [redeemer] and my bodie tobe buried in the churcheyarde of Braborne aforesaide

Item I Bequethe unto Andrew Kempe my sonne iij platters and iij pewter dishes

All the rest of all my goods unbequethed I do give and bequethe unto Katherine Kempe my wife whome I ordeine and make my sole Executrix shee for to do and dispose for me and for the wealthe of my sowle and all christe [christian] soules as shee shall thinke best

This is the last will of me John Kempe aforesaide concerninge my howse wth thappentettcs [with the appurtenances] and all my lande lienge and beinge in the pishe of Braborne

I will all the my howse wth thappentettcs [with the appurtenances] unto Katherine Kempe my wife, duringe her naturall life And after her decease I will my howse wth thappentettcs [with the appurtenances] and all my lands in fee simple equally to be devided betweene Andrew Kempe and Thomas Kempe my twoo sonnes and to their heires for evermore

This is the last will and testamente of me John Kempe the day and yere above written
