This is the laste testament nuncupative of Edwde [Edward] Kempe late of the parishe of Boughton Aluphe deceased by him made and declared for his laste will and testament beinge of good and p�fect memorie in these words followinge or the like in effect vizt.

He willed and bequeathed all his moveable goodes and chattells whatsoever to Roger Kempe his Kinsman to have and enioye the same to his owne use firste sayinge that he was much indebted unto the sayd Roger Kempe then all the goodes and cattells he had would amount and extend to pay him the said Roger Kempe

Witnesses present at the utteringe of the premisses by the said Edward Kempe

Notes:
Edward Kempe was buried at All Saints, Boughton Aluph on 6th April 1597
Edward Kempe is believed to be one of the Wye Kempe�s � but proof is lacking at the moment.
He appears not to have married. Roger Kempe was certainly of Wye descent.

Roger Kempe died and was buried at Boughton Aluph on 1 Mar 1603. See his Will:
PRC 32/39/239 Will of Roger Kempe, Yeoman of Boughton Aluph dated 4th February 1602(3) and who was buried there 1st March 1603
In this Will he gives �Item [inserted into margin] I give to Mary Kempe widow all such household stuffe that Edward Kempe my uncle [did own?] I give unto the said Mary to be paid my Executor in one yere after my decease.�
