The Will of George Kempe writt on the Xth of March 1603.

Item I give Mary Kempe my daughter vl [�5] to be payd wthin [within] one yeare after my decease
Item I give unto the childe yt my wife doth nowe goe wth vl to be payde withine one yeare after my decease

My Will is that my coysen Isaacke Frincke? [Finch?] shall see to the money to be putt forth to the best use in the behalfe of theis my two chyldren and my wife to have it to the better bringing upp of my two children

And my will is that my two Chyldren shall have theire vl to be payd unto them att ye age of xviijth yeres and if soe be yt they or either of them doe channce to de before yf they come to the full age of xviij yeares then my will is the money my wife shall have it

And the Residue of all my moveable goods and chattells my debtes being payd I give and bequeath unto Mary my Wife
the which Mary my Wife I make my full executor of this my last will and testament

In Witnes whereof I the sayd George Kempe have sett my hande in the presence of
Alexander Marbyhed ? - Henry Mitchell - John Gassocke

Notes:
It appears this family may have originated in Thanet:
George Kempe was christened 27th March 1573 at St. Mary, Minster, Kent, eldest s. of Thomas Kempe.

George Kempe married Mary Alwinckle (sic) 25th August 1598 at St. Peter, Thanet.
Their daughter Mary was christened 10th August 1600 there and a son Thomas Kempe was christened 18th Jan 1602 at St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent.

Mary Kempe (widow) then marries Augustine Collins 8th Feb 1607 at St. Peter in Thanet.
