In the name of God Amen the ninithe day of Auguste in the year of our Lorde God 1609
I William Kempe of the Parrishe of St. Donstone [St. Dunstan] in the Countye of Kente neere the Citye of Canterburye yeoman beeing sicke in my bodye, but of good remembrance (god bee praysed therefore) make this my will as followeth
First I comend my Soule to allmightie god my maker as well goe to bee saved and to sitt with the holye companye in heaven by the deathe and resurecttion of my onelle Lorde nd Saviour Jesus Christe, and by noe other meanes, and my will is that after my deathe my bodye be buryed in the churchyarde of St. Donstones aforesaid

First I give to the poore people of the said parrishe xlsto bee distributed amongest them within one moneth after my decease
Item I give to Rebecca Chamberlaine my kinswoman xxxl of good and lawfull monye of England, to bee paid to her within one yeare nexte after my decease

Item I give to Suzann Terrye the daughter of Leonard Terrye vl of good and lawfull monye of England, to bee paid to her at her age of xxjth yeares
And I give to Elizabeth Terrye her syster vl of good and lawfull monye of England, to bee paid to her at her age of one and twenty yeares
Item I give to Agnes Terrye the daughter of Leonard Terrye vl of good and lawfull monye of England, to bee paid to her at her age of xxjth yeares
Item I give to Abigaell Terrye the daughter of Leonard Terrye vl of good and lawfull monye of England, to bee paid to her at her age of xxjth yeares
and yf anye of thease Children channce to dye beefore they shll bee of there saide ages of 21ty years, them my will vs that the one of them shall bee the others heire, equalye to bee devided amongst the onlivers of them

Item I give to William Baker vl of goode and lawfull monye of Englande to be paide him at his age of xxiij years

The Residue of all my goods whatsoever unbeqeathed, my debts and legacys paidee I give to Joane my Wyfe, whom I constitute and appointe sole executrix of this my will

Item I give to Agnes Teusser the daughter of James Teusser vl of good and lawfull monye of Englande to bee paide within one halfe yeare nexte aftr my decease
Item I give to Mary Teusser and Susan Teusser the daughters of the said James Teusser xls a peece, to bee paide to them at there severall ages of xxiij yeares

In Witness that this is my will, I have hereunto sett my hande and seale the daye and yeare first above written
I appoint James Teusser and Leonard Terry overseers of this my will to whome I give xxs a peece

Notes:
William Kempe married Joane Terrie 13th October 1574 at St. Dunstan, Canterbury.
There are no children found of this marriage. I do not know what happens to his Widow, Joane Kempe.
