In the name of God Amen the nine and twentieth day of January 1619
I Thomas Kempe of Birchington [in the] Diocese of Canterbury beinge sicke of body but [of] good remembrance (praised be God heretofore) doe make this my last will and testament in manner & forme followinge
First I comitt my Soule into the hands of God my maker who gave it trustinge in the meritts death and passion of Jesus Christ my Saviour to have remission of all my Sins and that at the generall and last days I shall be placed in in the heavens accompanied with the holy Saints and Angells there where I shall behould him wch hee by his mighty power can bringe to raise?
And my body to bee buried in the Churchyard of Birchington

Imprimis Igive to the poore of Birchington ijs to be bestowed at the discretion of my Executrix at the daye of my buriall

All the rest of my goods and moveables whatsoever I give and bequeath unto Anne my loveing wife whom I make the sole Executrix of this my last will and testament to see my debts paid and my funerall expences discharged

This is the last will of me Thomas Kemp whereunto I have sett my hand

Notes: Thomas Kempe was buried at All Saints, Birchington on 31st January 1619/20.
Annie Kempe, wife of Thomas, was buried there 12th June 1616.
Thomas Kempe married Agnes Binge 11 Feb 1616/7 at Birchington.
There are no known children.
