In the name of God Amen the nineteenth day of Aprill in the Twentyth yeare of the Raigne of our Soveraigne Lord James by the Grace of God of England, King of Engles, frannce Ireland and Holand defender of the fayth etc. And of Scotland the five and fiftieth
I Elizabeth Kempe of the Towne and Porte of Sandwich in the County fo Kent Widowe being sicke in body but of good remembrance thanks be given to Almighty God, do make and ordayne this my last will and Testament in manner following
First I bequeath my Soule into the hands of Almighty God my Creator with full assurance that after this mortall liff as under I shalbee made p�taker [partaker] of life everlasting and that onely through the merits of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer
Item I bequeath my Body to the earth whereof it was framed to bee buried at the discretion of my executors hereafter named

Item my mynd and will is that my Brother William Ewell and my good friend Daniell Bruowne shalbee executors of this my will and testament my said executors withe such goods as God hath lent mee to provide for the devydinge up of my Children and the payment of my detts

And my mynde & will is that what shall remayne when my children are brought up and my detts paid shalbe equally devided amongst such of my children as shall come to bee one and Twenty yeares of age

In witnes whereof I have thereunto sett my hand and seale dated the day and yeare first above written

Notes:
Elyzabeth Kempe was buried at St. Peter, Sandwich on 22nd April 1622.
28th May 1610, Dunston Kempe married Elizabeth Ewell at Woodnesborough. Both were of St. Peter in Sandwich.
Their children (both christened at St. Peter�s):
31-Jan 1619 C Richard
17-Dec 1620 C Edward
Dunstone Kempe died and was buried at St. Peter, Sandwich on 24th July 1621.
