This is the last Will and testament of me Ozias Kemp of Whitstable in the County of Kent Dredger[man] published and declared this eighteenth day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand and eight hundred
First and principally I recommend my Soul to God and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named And as for and concerning all such Worldly Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow on me I give and dispose thereof as followeth (That is to say)

I Give and Devise all and every my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever either in possession Reversion Remainder or Expectancy unto my loving wife Martha Kemp and her Assigns for and during the term of her Natural life if she so long continue my Widow and Unmarried

And from and immediately after her Decease or Marriage again which shall first happen I Give and Devise my said Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Real Estate unto all and every my Children William Kemp Ozias Kemp James Kemp Mary the wife of Thomas Gann Elizabeth Kemp Martha Kemp Isabella Kemp and Anne Kemp equally to be divided between them share and share alike as Tenants in Common and not as Joint Tenants and to their several Heirs and Assigns for ever

And from and immediately after the payment of all my just Debts Funeral Expences the charges of proving and executing this my Will and all other incidental charges I Give and Bequeath the Use Dividends Interest and proceed of all and singular such Goods Chattells Smacks Vessells Boats Debts due and owing unto me Moneys Annuities for Money Effects and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature kind or quality soever the same shall consist ad be at the time of my Decease unto my said wife Martha Kemp for and during the term of her Natural life if she shall so long continue my Widow and unmarried

and from and immediately after her Decease or Marriage again which shall first happen I Give and Bequeath all and every my said Personal Estate unto all and every my said Children William Kemp Ozias Kemp James Kemp Mary the wife of Thomas Gann Elizabeth Kemp Martha Kemp Isabella Kemp and Anne Kemp equally to be divided between them share and share alike and to their several Executors Administrators and Assigns

And I do hereby make ordain Constitute and appoint my said Sons William Kemp and Ozias Kemp Executors of this my last Will and Testament and also Guardians of the Persons and Estate of my said Children Elizabeth Kemp Martha Kemp Isabella Kemp Anne Kemp and James Kemp until they shall have attained their several and respective Ages of Twenty one Years

In Witness whereof I the said Ozias Kemp the Testator have to this my last Will and testament set my hand and seal the Day and year first above written

The before Registered Will of Ozias Kemp deceased was proved the Sixth day of February 1804 before the Reverend Joshua Dix Clerk Surrogate to the Right Honble. [Honorable] Sir William Scott Knight Doctor of Laws Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oaths of William Kemp and Ozias Kemp the Sons and Executors named in the said Will They being first sworn duly to perform the same
