Notes:
Thomas Kemp married Sarah Lingfield at St. Leonards Deal on 25th October 1762.
They had one known child: Mary c. 18 Mar 1764 at St. Leonards.
Sarah predeceased Thomas she died and was buried there on 3rd November 1796.
Thomas died and was buried there (aged 77) on 11 March 1812 giving an approximate birth date of 1735.
He is probably the son of Thomas and Mary Kemp, christened at St. Augustine, Northbourne (less than 4 miles form Deal) on 3rd August 1735.

Sarah Kemp (the daughter mentioned in the Will) is not found, nor is her marriage to a William or a Thomas Goodson (or Goodwin, as per the proving of the Will). This seems to be a complete mess!

However, a Mary Kemp DID marry a Thomas Goodson on 22nd January 1789 at St. Leonard, Deal and that is the only marriage of a female Kemp to a male Goodson or Goodwin in the right area or time-frame that I have found.
