And first I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Sons John and Edward Executors of this my will whom I direct to pay all my just debts funeral expences and the proving of this my will
And I give to my sons John William Jesse and Charles the sum of fifty pounds of lawful money to each of them
and to my son James I give the sum of five pounds
And my will is that as soon as is convenient after my decease my said executors shall dispose of all my personal effects goods and chattels in the best manner they can and collect and receive all debts and whatever may be due to me and shall add the same to the amount of what may arise from the disposal of my goods and chattels to pay the several sums of fifty pounds to each of my four sons above named and five pounds to my son James
And my will is that the residue and remainder be equally divided between my sons John Edward William Jesse Charles and Thomas and my daughters Elizabeth Frances Mary and Esther and Jane share and share alike
And I hereby revoke all former wills and declare this to be my last will and testament

Kent. It appears the family were born in East Sutton:
