I give and bequeath unto my daughter Susanna the Wife of Richard Knott the sum of ten pounds of lawful money of the united Kingdom current in Great Britain to be paid her within three months after my decease
And I do give devise and bequeath unto my sons and daughters Elizabeth Kemp Thomas Kemp William Kemp Jane the wife of William Friend Mary the wife of Joseph Hewitt and Sarah the wife of Thomas Wanstall all and every my freehold messuages lands tenements and hereditaments and every part and shares thereof
And the Residue and Remainder of my monies stocks funds and other securities for money household furniture plate linen china and all other property Estate and Effects I am or shall be seized possessed of interested in or entitled unto at the time of my decease to hold all the same unto them my said sons and daughters Elizabeth Kemp Thomas Kemp William Kemp Jane Friend Mary Hewitt and Sarah Wanstall equally to be divided between them share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and to their several and respective heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the nature thereof
and in case any of them my said sons and daughters shall die before me leaving a child or
children or issue of deceased child or children him her or them surviving then I do give devise and bequeath the parts and shares of him her
or them so dying unto his her or their child or children or issue (such issue taking per stirpes and
not per capita) if more than one equally between them as tenants in common as aforesaid and to
their several and respective heirs executors administrators and assigns
and in case any or either of my said sons and daughters shall die before me without leaving a child or children or issue
surviving then I do give devise and bequeath the parts and shares of him her or them so dying
unto the survivors of my said sons and daughters and to the children or issue of any who may
have died leaving children (such children or issue taking only what would have been their
parents share if living) equally between them as tenants in common as aforesaid and to their
several and respective heirs executors administrators and assigns
And I do hereby nominate and appoint Henry Pett Hannam of Northbourne Court and
Thomas Hoile of Finglesham in the parish of Northbourne aforesaid Esquires joint Executors of this my Will
and hereby revoking all former Wills by me made I do declare this to be my last Will and Testament

Whereas I Susanna Kemp of the Parish of Northbourne in the County of Kent widow did make my only last Will and Testament bearing date on or about the twenty sixth day of July one thousand eight hundred and twenty eight Now I do hereby declare this present writing to be a Codicil to my said Will and direct the same to be annexed thereto and taken as part thereof
And whereas by my said Will I have nominated and appointed Henry Pett Hannam of Northbourne Court and Thomas Hoile of Finglesham in the parish of Northbourne aforesaid to be Executors thereof now I hereby revoke the aforesaid appointment and in lieu and stead thereof I nominate constitute and appoint my son Thomas Kemp of the Town and Port of Hythe in the said County of Kent Brewers Servant and my son in Law Thomas Wanstall of the parish of Northbourne aforesaid Carpenter to be Executors of my said Will and in every other respect I ratify and confirm the same
In Witness whereof I the said Susanna Kemp have to this my Codicil in one sheet of paper

Daniel Kemp married Susanna Woodward at St. Augustine, Northbourne on 14th May 1774.
Susanna is buried at Northbourne on 3rd January 1844 aged 97 (giving her a birth date of 1747 + 2 years.
