This is the last Will and Testament of me Elizabeth Kemp [Widow] of Northbourne in the County of Kent

I give and devise all and every my real and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my son Henry Maxted of Ringwould in the said County of Kent Carpenter his heirs and assigns absolutely
and I appoint him my said son sole Executor of this my will whereof I revoke all former wills and testamentary dispositions

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the 22 day of July one thousand eight hundred and forty two

Signed by the said Elizabeth Kemp as her last will and testament in the presence of us who being present at the same time at her request and in her presence and the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses
John Gillbee John Curling Ringwould July 22 1844

In the Prerogative Court of Canterbury In the Goods of Elizabeth Kemp Widow deceased
Appeared Personally John Gillbee of Ringwould in the County of Kent Gentleman and made Oath that he is one of the subscribed witnesses to the last will and testament hereunto annexed bearing date the twenty second day of July one thousand eight hundred and forty two of Elizabeth Kemp late of Northbourne in the County of Kent Widow deceased the said will bearing also the following date after the names of the subscribed witnesses thereto to wit Ringwould July 22 1844 and the appearer further made Oath that on the aforesaid twenty second of July one thousand eight hundred and forty four the said testatrix duly executed her said will at Ringwould in the County of Kent by signing her name at the foot or end thereof in the presence of the appearer and of John Curling the other subscribed witness thereto the being both being present at the same time And this appearer and the said John Curling then attested and subscribed the said will in the presence of the said testatrix and of each other

On the fourth day of August 1845 the said John Gillbee was duly sworn to the truth of this affidavit by virtue of Commission hereto annexed before me
J. Morins? Commissioner

Proved at London 8th August 1845 before the Judge of the Oath of Henry Maxted the sole Executor to whom Admon. [Administration] was granted having been first sworn by Comon duty to administer

Note: Elizabeth Kemp was buried at Ringwould on 23 Apr 1845 (given as �of Walmer�, aged 70)
