In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Kennett of Bilsington in the countie of Kent smithman being sick in bodie but of perfect remembrance doe make and ordaine this my last will and testament in manner and forme following that is to say
First I bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie God my creator and redeemer and my bodie to be buried in the Churchyard at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named

Item I give and bequeath unto Jane Taylor and Catherine Taylor my sister Taylor�s two daughters and to their heires for ever one parcell or peece of land knowne or called by the name of Browdway �� in the parishe of Folkestone containing by estimation sixe acres be it more or lesse

Item I give and bequeath unto Henrie Cavell my younger sister�s sonne the some of five shillings to be paid him by my executor hereafter named when he shall accomplish his full age on one and twentie yeares

Item I give and bequeath unto Martha Baker ten shillings to be paid her by my executor hereafter named within one moneth after my decease

All the rest of my goods cattell and chattells moveables and unmoveables my funerall expences discharged I give and bequeath unto John Taylor my brother in lawe whome I make my sole executor of this my last will and testament and I appointe my beloved freind and kinsman Edmund Baker overseer of this my last will and testament

In witnes whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale this fifth daie of May 1650 The marke and seale of Thomas Kennett Sealed in the presence of Peter Gate and Joyner Brooke
