In the Name of God Amen I Robert Kennett of the Town and Port of Dover in the County of Kent Butcher and Grazier being in good Health of Body and of sound perfect and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding (God be praised therefor) do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in Writing in Manner and Form following (that is to say)
First and principally I recommend my Soul to God and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executors herein after named And as for all such Worldly Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof as followeth

I give and devise all and singular my real Estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto my two Nephews Robert Hunt and James Hunt equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike and to take as Tenants in Common and not as joint Tenants and to their several Heirs and Assigns for ever

Also I give and bequeath all and singular my Leasehold Estate Stock Cattle Household Furniture Plate Linen China Monies Securities for Money and all other my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever (charged and chargeable nevertheless with the Payment of my Debts Funeral and other incident Expences and the several Legacies herein after mentioned ) unto my said two Nephews Robert Hunt and James Hunt equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike and to their several Executors Administrators and Assigns

Also I hereby charge my said Personal Estate with the Payment of the several Sums of Money herein after mentioned which I hereby give and bequeath and order and direct to be thereout paid unto such of the several Persons herein after named and such of them only as shall be living at the End of One Year next after my Decease (that is to say)
unto my Brother in Law Robert Westfield and my Nephews and Nieces Robert Westfield Susanna Benjamin Kennett Westfield Susanna Kennett and Phineas Kennett the Sum of fifty Pounds Sterling apiece
and unto my Nephew Matthew Kennett the Sum of forty Pounds Sterling

And I hereby declare my Mind and Will to be that in case either of them my said Nephews Robert Hunt and James Hunt shall happen to die in my Life Time the whole of my said real Estate Leasehold Estate Stock Cattle Household Furniture Plate Linen China Monies Securities for Monies and all other my said Goods Chattels and Personal Estate (charged and chargeable nevertheless as aforesaid) shall go and belong unto and be had held taken Possessed and enjoyed by the other of them my said Nephews Robert Hunt and James Hunt who shall survive me

And in that case I hereby give devise and bequeath the same unto either of them my said Nephews Robert Hunt and James Hunt so surviving me (the other of them dying before me) and unto his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for ever (charged and chargeable nevertheless as aforesaid)

And I hereby make nominate and appoint my said two Nephews Robert Hunt and James Hunt Executors of this my last Will and Testament
And I hereby revoke and make void all former and other Wills and Testaments by me made and publish and declare this and no other to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Robert Kennett the Testator to each Sheet of this my last Will and Testament in two Sheets of Paper contained have set my Hand and Seal the fourth day of November in the twenty sixth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth And in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty five Robt Kennett
