Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Martha Kenward the Sume of One Thousand Pounds
of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid unto her when She shall arrive unto the Age of One and twenty years by my
Executors hereafter named
And my Mind and Will is And I do hereby Order that my Executors do pay or cause to be paid to
my said Daughter Martha Kenward Interest for the said One Thousand Pounds att and after the rate of Five pounds per Cent
per Annum untill She doe arrive at the said Age of One and twenty years by foure Quarterly payments in the yeare (that is
to say) upon Christmas Day Lady Day Midsumer Day and Michmas Day the First payment thereof to begin and be made
upon the First of the said Feast Days which shall happen next after my Decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Julian Kenward the like Sume of One Thousand Pounds of like
lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid unto her when She shall arrive to the Age of One and twenty years by my
Executors hereafter named
And I do hereby Will order and Appoint my Executors att their owne proper Costs and Charges
to Educate maintaine and bring up my said Daughter Julian until She do arrive at her said Age of One and twenty years
And I do hereby charge and make lyable with the payment of the said Legacy of One Thousand Pounds and Interest to my
said Daughter Martha and the said Legacy of One Thousand Pounds and Interest to my said Daughter Julian all and every of
my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate of what nature or Kind soever
And also all those my three Messuages Tenemts or Farmes with the Barnes Stable Outhouses Edifices Buildings
Yards Gardens Orchards and severall peeces or parcells of Land to them and each of them belonging situate lyeing and being in
Yalding aforesaid and Nettle Stead in the said County of Kent and now one of the said Messuages Tenements or Farmes are
in the Tenure or Occupation of Richard Medhurst one other is in the Tenure or Occupation of Richard Foster and
the other in the Tenure or Occupation of Thomas Nokes
And also all that my Messuage Tenement or Farme called Keelands with the Barne Stable Outhouses Edifices buildings Yard Garden
Orchard and severall peeces or parcells of Land thereunto belonging situate lyeing and being in Nettle Stead aforesaid and
Brenchley in the said County of Kent and now in the Tenure or Occupation of John Fetherstone
Item all and every Mannors Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments whatsoever and wheresoever I
give Devise and bequeath in manner and forme following (that is to say) As to One halfe part thereof I give Devise and
bequeath unto my deare and loveing Wife Martha Kenward for and dureing the Terme of her naturall Life
And from and imediately after her Decease I give Devise and bequeath the same unto my Son John Kenward and to his Heirs
and Assignes for ever
And as for the other halfe part of my said Mannors Messuages Lands Tenements and Hereditaments I give Devise and bequeath unto my said Sonn John Kenward and to his Heirs and Assignes for ever (The aforesaid Messuages Tenements or Farmes being Subject nevertheless to the Payment of the Legacies aforesaid)
Item all my Goods Chattells ready money Securities for money Plate Linnen and Personal
Estate of what nature or Kind soever my Debts Legacies and Funeral Expences being first Paid and Discharged I give and
bequeath unto my said Deare and loveing Wife Martha Kenward and my said Sonn John Kenward equally betweene them
whome I alsoe nominate and Appoint Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament
And I doe hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made And Doe declare this present Writeing contained in these three Sheets of Paper to be my last Will and Testament
In Witnesse whereof I have to each Sheet hereof sett my hand and Seale the Day and
yeare in the First Sheete first mentioned Robt Kenward
