In The name of God Amen the thirtenth daie of Februarij one thowsand Five hundreth ninetie eighte &c.
I Thomas Kingesforth of Marlie in the parishe of Norborne in the Countie of Kente Yeoman being sicke of bodie but whole of minde and remembrannce {God be thancked for it) do make this my last will and testamente in mannr and forme followinge
First I do comit my soule into the handes of allmightie God my onelie creator and my lorde and saviour Jesis Christe my Reedeemr my bodie I will to bee buried in the churchyard of Norborne at the discrecon of mine executor

Item I will unto Austen Horne that married Isabell my daughter fifteene powndes to bee paid unto him within one yeare after my decease
Item I will and bequeathe unto Christian Hatcher my daughter Tenne shillings
Item I geve and bequeathe unto Alice my daughter twentie powndes to bee paid unto hir within one yeare after my decease
Item I will unto Margerie Frend my daughter tenne shillinges
Item I will unto Dennis my daughter twentie pownds to bee paid unto hir within one yeare after my decease
Item I will unto Agnes Kingesforth my sonne Thomas his daughter Fortye shillinges

Item I will and bequeathe unto Agnes my wiffe all my houshold stuffe with all my moveable goods which I have in my possession in the house where I nowe dwell
Allso I will that Thomas Kingsforthe my sonne shall paie unto my wiffe Fortie shillinges evrie quarter for the space or tearme of Five yeares if my said wiffe do live so longe
Allso I will my sonne Thomas shall paie unto my wiffe yearlie twentye bushells of wheate and twentie bushells of Barlie during hir n[atu]rall liffe and allso shall keepe two kine for my wiffe freelie
Allso I will that my wiffe shall have hir free dwellinge in my house and orcharde and hempland where I nowe dwell during hir nrall life

Item I will that Thomas Kingefforth my sonne shall have the occupacon of all my landes and leases until my sonne John Kingesforth shall come to the age of twentie and three yeares of age to p[er]forme and accomplishe this my will

Provided allwaies that after the tearme of Five yeares my wiffe shalbe paid Eight powndes a yeare and all other hir legacies out of all my landes and leases during hir nrall liffe
And I do make Thomas my sonne my hole executor hereof

Thomas Kingforthe was buried at St. Augustine, Northbourne, Kent on 18 Feb 1598/99.
Austen Horne married Isbell Kingfforthe 13 Jul 1587 at Northbourne.
Roger Frende married Margerye Kingfforth 20 Oct 1595 at Northbourne.
