In the name of God Amen the Twoe and twentie daie of Aprill And in the yeare of our Lord God One thousand six hundred and thirtie
I Edman Kingsmell of the parishe of Kingstone in the County of Kent Yeoman beeing sick of bodie but of perfect Remembrance (I give God hartie thancks for yt) doe make and order my last will and testament in manner and forme followinge
First I Comitt my soule into the hands of Allmightie God my Savery [Saviour] and Redeemer by whose death and most prechest [precious] bloud I trust onlie to bee saved And my body to bee buried att the discrecon of my executors

Item I bequeath unto Mary my wiffe twenty pounds to bee paid unto her withing one yeare next after my decease
Item I give more unto the said Mary my wife One beadsteddle, One featherbedd, t[w]o blanke[t]s and Curferled [Coverlet!], three paire of shettes, one great Chist, one brasse pott, one brasse stapen?, one brasse kettle and my best tablecloath and one stoke of beese to bee delivird unto her wthin one month nex(t) after my decease
Item I give more unto my said Mary my wiffe two boulster and one lynnen wheele to be delivered as aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath unto Edman Kingsmill my sonne Twenty shillinges to bee paid withing one yeare next after my decease
Item I give unto Thomas Kingsmell sonne of Edman Kingsmell tenn shillings to bee paid as aforesaid
Item I give unto Stephen Kingsmell my sonn tenn shillings to bee paid as aforesaid
Item I give unto Elizabeth the daughter of the said Stephen Kingsmell tenn shillings to bee paid as aforesaid

Item I give and bequeath unto Cattrone Kingsmell my said daughter and nowe wiffe of Thomas Brensle six pound to be paid as aforesaid
Item I give unto my said daughter Cattron [Catherine] the wife of Thomas Brensle [Brenchley] as long as the leste [lease?] wherein I now dwell in Kingstone the keeping of a Cowe paying twentye shillings a yeare to my executors this to bee kept according as hee keepeth his owne Cattle excepting eight weekes every yeare to tak(e) her away about the beginning of March till Maye day

Item I give unto Cattron Brensle and Thomas Brensle and Vincen Brenchslye and Bennit Brensly twenty shillinges a peece to bee paid as aforesaid
Item I give unto my said sonn Thomas Kingsmell five Children Twentie shillings a peece to be paid as aforesaid
Item I give unto Thomas Kingsmell my sonn twelve pound to bee paid as aforesaid

The residue of all my goodes my depts and legacies and my funerall discharged I give unto John Kings[m]ell my sonn whome I doe ordayne to be my executors of this my last will and testament And all other willes I utterly denys

In Witnes heereof I the said Edman Kingsmell have sett my hand the day and yeare first above written

Notes:
Edmond Kingsmeels was buried on 27th May 1630 at St. Giles, Kingston (next Barham), Kent.
His son Edman Kingsmell was baptised 3 Oct 1596, at Denton.
Daughter Catherine Kingsmill married Thomas Brenchley 18th July 1622 at St. Mary, Womenswold, Kent.
