In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Kingsnorth of the Town and Parish of Maidstone in the County of Kent Spinster being of sound Mind Memory and Understanding do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say)
First and principally I commend my Soul unto the Hands of Almighty God and my Body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors herein after named And as touching and concerning the Worldly Estate wherewith the Lord hath been pleased to bless me I give thereof as follows

I give devise and bequeath unto Camelia eldest Daughter of James Whatman Esqr. of the Parish of Boxley in the Counted of Kent One Gold Ring set with Diamonds immediately after my decease
I give devise and bequeath unto Leticia, youngest Daughter of the said James Whatman and Sister to the said Camelia abovementioned all my China she will please to accept of
I give devise and bequeath unto Mary Louddle Wife of (Thomas) Louddle, Daughter of Thomas Kingsnorth to purchase a Ring in remembrance of me to be paid her immediately after my decease by my Executor

I give devise and bequeath unto Sarah Mercer Wife of William Mercer of Maidstone, Carpenter the Sum of Three Guineas to be paid her within two Months after my decease also one Taby Silk Gown and Lawn handkerchief One Lawn Apron one pair of Lawn Ruffles to be delivered to her by my Executors immediately after my decease
I give devise and bequeath unto my Maid servant that shall live with me at the time of my decease the Sum of One Guinea to be paid unto her by my Executor immediately after my decease over and above her wages that at that time may be owing to her

As to all the rest residue and remainder of my Household Goods, Linen, Apparel, Book Debts, Bills, Bonds, Plate, Jewels and Effects of what nature or kind soever which I have not hereby disposed of I give unto all my Nephews
John Kingsnorth, Son of John Kingsnorth (deceased) of Maidstone, Stone Mason
and his Brothers James Kingsnorth, Daniel Kingsnorth, George Kingsnorth, Thomas Kingsnorth, William Kingsnorth and Charles Kingsnorth

Also to my two Nephews Daniel Kingsnorth of Maidstone, Threadman and John Kingsnorth his Brother, Gardner, both of the Town and Parish of Maidstone in the County of Kent,
to be equally divided among and between all my said Nephews by my Executors within three Months after my decease

Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my two nephews John Kingsnorth, Stone Mason and Daniel Kingsnorth, Threadman, both of Maidstone aforesaid sole Executors of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other and former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do if they shall execute this my last Will and Testament give to each of them Five Pounds of lawful Money for their Trouble and do declare this contained in One Sheet of Paper to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the ninth day of September one thousand seven hundred and eighty six

Signed sealed published and declared by the said Testator as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of Us who at her request and in her presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed Our Names as Witnesses hereunto

This Will was proved at London the thirtieth day of August in the Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety four before the Worshipful Samuel Pearce Parson, Doctor of Laws and Surrogate of The Right Honourable Sir William Wynne, Knight, also Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, lawfully constituted by the Oath of Daniel Kingsnorth the Nephew of the deceased and surviving Executor named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to Administer

Elizabeth Kingsnorth was buried at All Saints, Maidstone, Kent on 22 Aug 1794.
Mary Kingsnorth, Spinster of St. Faith, Maidstone married Thomas Lowdell, Bachelor of Headcorn on 9 Oct 1777 at All Saints, Maidstone.
