I Thomas Ladde of Barham ... to be buried in the churchyard of Berrham
I bequeath unto the high altar of Barham for my tithes neglected 12d
To the sayd church for repairs 2s 8d
At my burying monetheday and monethesmind ij masses & each time 5s to the poore

Unto Thomas Ladde my sonne iiij horse beastes of the beste with my carte harness & plowghe
And viij kyne and a bull and x wethers and x ewes and half my householde stuffe
Iten I give unto John Ladde my sonne the residue of my horse beastes, kyne, hafers and stores, my shepe and housholde stuffe

Item I bequeath to Thomas my sone my house that I dwell in and the lands belonging thereto

I will that my son John shall have the house in Berham streate with the crofte that belongs thereto,
AlsoI will that my sone John shall have Penters Crofte and the little meadowe that liethe unto hit? And the house that liethe on agaynste Baker in Deringstone with the crofte belonging thereto and halffe an acre of meadowe lieng by the way to Southe Berham warde,
I will also that my sone John shall have and acre lieng in the Southfelde under Thomas A Dennes meadowe,
I will also that my sone John shall have all my lands in the p[ar]’sonage felde,

and I make Nycholas Lad of Elham my executor and Vincent Nethersole overseer
witnesses: William Nashe and Nycholas Wrighte

Probatum: the 10th day of the month July AD 1547 on the oaths of William Nashe & Nicholas Wright executors
