Allso I geve and bequeathe to Agnes Lake my wif[e] all mye goods and cattels Uppon condicon that she the said Agnes wthin two
monethes next after my decease Uppon reasonable requestes to be made unto her shall seale and delyver to her deade [deed] and deades all
such release and releases of her righte and tytle of dower, of all the lande and Tenementes wche at anye tyme I was seased [seized] of
during the tyme of our marriage wche shall be demised and required by Rychard Lake mye sonne or his heires, or bye any other
parson [person] or p[er]sons their heires and assignes that at anye tyme have purchassed or
shall purchase anye Landes or Tenements of me the said John Lake
Saving and? yearlye rent of Twentye shillinges by the yeare wche I the said John do hereafter gyve & bequethe by
this mye Will to the said Agnes duringe her lyfe to be paide by the saide Richarde Lake my sonne yn consideracon of her said dower
And yf the said Agnes my wif do refuse to seale and delyver as her deade anie relese dimised [demised] and required in manner and form aforesaide Then I will that the gifte and bequests of all mye said goodes and Cattells to the said Agnes my wif shall from and after suche refusal be Utterlye Voyde And that then and from thenceforthe all mye said goods and cattells shall remayne to thexecutors of this my Will and Testament
Allso I give & bequeathe unto Elizabethe Lake my daughter five poundes thirteen shillings and fowre pence of Lawfull monye of Englande To be paide to the said Elizabethe bye my said sonne Richard Lake or his heires, when the said Elizabeth shall come to her full age of twentye and one yeares
And yf it shall happen the saide sume of five poundes thirteen shillings and foure pence or anye parcell thereof to be unpaied to the saied Elizabethe at her age aforesaide Then I will that the said Elizabethe shall enter into all the lands and Tenements, that doe descende from me to the saide Richarde, and the proffetes thereof take, till the saide five poundes thirteen shillings and fowre pence shalbe fullye paide Ecxepte twenty shillinges yearly wche shalbe yerely payable out of the saide landes to the said Agnes mye Wife yn manner and forme as yn this mye p’sent laste Will ys expressed
And I make and ordeyn mye saide sonne Richard Lake Executor of this mye last will and Testament
And for the better execucon thereof I appointe and requier my brother Thomas Lake to be Overseer of the same my laste will &
Testamente And he to have therefore foure pence and besides his charges susteyned about the execution of mye sayde will and Testament
And touchinge the dispocions [dispositions] of my landes and Tenements
I give and bequeathe to Agnes my wife during her life in full consideracon of her dower and titles and rightes of dower of all my landes
and Tenem[en]ts twenty shillinges of lawfull moneys of Englande going owte of all my landes and Tenements wche I shalbe seased of at the
tyme of my decease, half yerely to be paide The firste thereof payment to be made at that feast of St. Michaell tharchangell [the
Archangel] or thannunciacon [the Annunciation] wche shall firste come next aftr my decease
And for faillure of payment thereof I will that the saide Agnes shall distraynne [distrain] mye saide
landes and Tenements Provided allwayes that yf the saide Agnes doe refuse to release her tytle of
dower in forme as in this p’sent gifte of twentye shillinges by the yere shalbe voide
Allso I will that my saide brother Thomas Lake shall receave the proffes of mye landes to these of mye saide sonne Richarde till the
saide Richard shall come to his full age of twentye and foure yeares And then to make accompte of the saide proffes [profits] to the
saide Richard my sonne or to his heires
Allso I will that all mye saide landes that at the tyme of my deathe I shall be seised of shall discend to
my said sonne Richard Lake and to his heires
