I give and bequeath my wearing apparel my Burkitt�s Notes on the New Testament six silver tea spoons and one silver dessert spoon unto my son John Samuel Langridge and my silver watch and one silver tablespoon unto my son Thomas Nathaniel Langridge and one silver tablespoon and my Matthew Henry�s Comments on the Bible unto my daughter Lydia Bird their respective executors administrators and assigns absolutely
I give and bequeath all that my leasehold dwelling house yard garden hereditaments premises and appurtenances thereunto belonging situated in Ordnance Place Chatham aforesaid and in which I now reside as also all my furniture goods and household effects not hereinbefore and otherwise disposed of unto my said dear wife Margaret for her own use benefit and disposal.
But if at the time of her decease she should remain possessed of and hold of the whole or any part of my said dwelling house garden hereditaments and premises or the whole or any part of my furniture household goods and effects hereinbefore mentioned then and in that case it is my will and mind that the same and every part thereof be sold and the proceeds thereof and every part thereof after deducting necessary expenses I give and bequeath unto my sons John Samuel Langridge and Thomas Nathaniel Langridge and my daughter the said Lydia Bird their respective heirs executors administrators or assigns share and share alike thus to be divided by between and among them for his her or their own use benefit and disposal absolutely
and I hereby appoint my dear wife Margaret sole executrix of this my will and cancelling
all other wills by me at any time heretofore made publish and declare this only to be and contain my last
will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my name this twelfth day of August one thousand
eight hundred and fifty one.
