Be it known unto all men by these prsents that I Thomas Lee of Deale Mariner have made declared
constituted and appointed and by these doe make ordaine authorize, constitute and appointe William
Hanger of Deale aforesaid Butcher and Mary his wife my loveing Sister to be my true
and lawfull Deputies and Attorneys forme in hands, and to use and aske demande and receive all such
rents, debts, pay, usages, sume & sumes of money as now is or hereafter shall be due owing or belonging
unto me by or from any p[er]son or p[er]sons whatsoever, giveing and by these pr[e]sents
granting unto my said Attorneys joyntly and severally my full & whole power and authority in the
premisses upon receipt of the said rents, debts, sume and sumes of money, Acquittance release or other legall discharge for the same forme
And in my name to make signe and deliver and upon refusill or neglect of payment forme and
in my name to comindure [commandeer] and prosecute any suite or Action in any Court or Courts before
any Judge or Justices against the persons concerned for the recovery thereof and one Attorney or more in
the prmisses under them to make substitute appoint and at pleasure revoke and further doe execute and
performe all other Acts and things needfull and expedient to be done in the prmisses All which and
whatsoever my said Attorneys or either of them shall doe or cause to be done in the prmisses I doe
hereby promise to allow and confirme to be as good and effectuall to all intents and purposes as if my
selfe had been p[er]sonally prsent and had done the same
And I the said Thomas Lee considering the uncertainty of this Life doe make and declare this my last
Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto her the said Mary my
Sister and unto her heires forever all and singuler my lands tenements & hereditaments whatsoever
alsoe I give and bequeath unto her all my goods, moveables, pay, wages, and p[er]sonall estate
whatsoever & wheresoever of what nature kind or quality soever
and doe hereby make nominate and appointe him the said William Hanger and Mary his wife joynte Executors Executors of this my Will
In Witness whereof I the said Thomas Lee have hereunto set my hand and seale dated the Eleaventh day
of December in the Third year of the Reigne of o[u]r Sovereigne Lord and Lady William and Mary now King and Queen of England &c. Annoq. dini 169i

Note: William Hanger aged 32, Butcher of Deal married Mary Jewell, Widow of Deal, on 6th May 1675 at St. Nicholas, Sholden, Kent.
