Imprimis I give and bequeath unto Joseph Diamond son of Joseph Diamond of Hawkhurst in the county of Kent, clothworker, one shilling of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid unto him within three months next after my decease by my executor herein after named.
Item I give and devise to my loving kinsman James Chesman of Boughton Monchelsea in the said County of Kent, freemason and his heirs forever all that messuage or tenement barns buildings and several pieces or parcels of land thereunto belonging with their and every of their appurtanances situate lying and being in Benenden aforesaid and now or late in the tenure or occupation �the said William Leedes my undertenants or assigns.
Item I give and devise unto my said loving kinsman James Chesman and his heirs forever all that messuage and tenements barns and buildings garden orchard and several parcels of land thereunto belonging with their and every of their appurtanances situate lying and being in Hawkhurst in the said County of Kent and now in the tenure or occupation of Thomas Sands his undertenants or assigns.
item I give and devise unto my loving kinsman and his heirs forever all and every other messuage lands tenements hereditaments and � of me the said William Leedes in Benenden and Hawkhurst aforesaid or elsewhere within the said county of Kent
all�� and residue of my goods and chattels and personal effects and wheresoever to be found within the Kingdom of Great Britain called England and not herein given or bequeathed (my debts legacies funeral expenses and probate of this my will being first paid and discharged) I give and bequeath unto my said loving kinsman James Chesman and I do hereby make and ordain my said loving kinsman James Chesman sole executor of this my last will and testament revoking all other wills by me hereto for made.
In witness thereof I the said William Leedes the testator have to every sheet thereof being two in number to the first set
my hand and to the last of them my hand and seal in the presence of those whose names are
