In the name of God Amen, I Jane Leeds of Maidstone in the county of Kent the widow of Isaac Leeds late of Maidstone aforesaid Marriner ...and being in good ...of body and of sound mind and memory and understanding (praised to God for the same) do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following (that is to say) first and principally I wish ...commend my immortal soul to Almighty God and my body I commit to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executrix hereinafter named and as ... my worldly goods and chattels given and bequeathed the same as follows (that is to say)

unto my daughter Mary Field the wife of John Field, mariner, all and singular of my goods chattels moveables furniture and personal estate of what nature or kind which were given and bequeathed unto me in and by the last will and testament of my sister Hannah Birkhurst late of Aylesford in the said county of Kent, widow, deceased to hold unto my said daughter Mary Field her executors administrators and assigns as her and their goods chattels moveables furniture and personal estate forever

Also I give and bequeath unto my sons Isaac Leeds and Frances Leeds and unto her my said daughter Mary Field equally divided between them share and share alike all such sum and sums of money as my said son Isaac Leeds shall owe and be indebted to me at the time of my decease for the use and .........

and from and after the payment of all and singular my just debts and funeral expences then I do give and bequeath unto my said daughter Mary Field all the rest and residue of my goods chattels household goods and furniture of household and all other my personal estate whatsoever wheresoever which were not given and bequeathed in and by the last will and testament of my said late husband Isaac Leeds to hold unto my said daughter Mary Field her executors administrators and assigns forever

And I do hereby constitute nominate and appoint my said daughter Mary Field whole and sole executrix of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made this only to be my last will and testament

In witness whereof I the said testatrix Jane Leeds to this my last will and testament have hereunto set my hand and seal the tenth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty six Jane Leeds her mark signed sealed published and declared by the said testatrix Jane Leeds as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses to the same in the presence of the said testatrix at her request and in the presence of each other
