In the Name of God Amen I Lydia Link Widow of the late Thos Link Gent of the Parish of Chatham in the County of Kent being in sound mind and Understanding blessed be God for his kind Providence and giving me some Property at his own disposal
I first give my soul to God who gave it in hopes of a Glorious Resurrection my body to the Earth to be buried in like manner as my first Husband and sincere friend John Boorman in the Vault in Loose Church Yard the inscription set on the same Stone

I now give and bequeath the sum of One hundred pound in the Life Insurance Norrage Bank to my two Sisters Ann Shoobridge and Sarah Skinner share and share alike and my Wearing Apparel to be divied between them

I now give and bequeath the sum of four hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain which is owing to me by my Nephew Geo Shoobridge on Bond Mr Tho: Funnell and Mr Daniel Farman Tanners at Sandling in the County of Kent at that time being bound for the same the Principal four hundred with interest to be equally divided between my brother Geo Children Sisters Ann Shoobridge Sarah Skinner and Mary Children Wife of my brother Wm Children

I now give and bequeath to my two Sisters Ann Shoobridge and Mary Skinner what money I have in the Saveing Bank Chatham or in my House or due to me of my Annuity at the time of my decease (my Sisters to pay Ten pound to my brother Geo Children and pay all debts and funeral expences)

what I leave to Sister Skinner I desire may be taken by her and be at her own disposal without any interference of her present husband Robert Skinner

I now give and bequeath to my Sister Ann Shoobridge fifty pound I have on Security of the Trustees of the Bethel Methodist Chapel Chatham County of Kent for her own use
I now give and bequeath to my brother George Children and Sister Mary Children Wife of my brother Wm Children my part of Household Funrniture with Books and Linen to be divided

I give and bequeath to Jane Children daughter of my brother Wm Children a White Bed Furniture and Chest upon Chest of Drawers now at her fathers
I now give to Stephen Link Son of my late Husband Tho Link his father�s Watch
his two daughters Mary Ann Selby and Eliza Stanford one doz. Silver Tea Spoons & Tongs the other Plate I gave them before
I give and bequeath to John Boorman his Uncle�s likeness he being Executor to his Will my first husband John Boorman

I nominate and appoint my brother George Children Sisters Ann Shoobridge and Sarah Skinner Joint Executors of this my last Will revoking all others at any time made by me and declare this my last Will

I Lydia Link wright this as a Codicil to my Will this 21 day of Nov 1829

in my Will I have given four hundred pounds that is owing to me on Bond by my Nephew Geo Shoobr which money by Will I have given to be divided between my bro Wm Children�s Wife or Family Bro Geo Children Sisters Ann Shoobridge & Sarah Skinner
if one of them die bro George or Sisters their part to be divided between the others Legacys
the Bond I consider may be difficulty to recover the debts I before have given full power to my Nephew George Philcox to Execute the Bond for his own use clear of any expence to me by paying the two hundred pound down to me or my Executors on his receiving the Bond the money to be divided equal as the will directs

I give to my Bro Geo Children a decent Mourning with great Cote to be made by Mr Tomling Chatham & paid for by my Sisters
I give to Mrs Radford five pounds for Mourning if she is living with me at my decease
I give to my Sister Sarah Skinner my Watch & to her Son Geo Philcox the Notes of Hand in my possession
