of Eynsford, Kent

In the Name of God Amen I Ann Loveland of the Parish of Eynsford in the County of Kent Widow being Weak in body but of sound and Perfect Mind and memory do make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say

First I Give and Bequeath to Samuel Hodsell of Eynsford aforesaid a Note of hand for twenty Pounds due from him to me the which I give and forgive

I likewise Give and Bequeath to John Caufield Clerk of the Parish of Halsted in the said County of Kent the Sum of ten Pounds of good and lawful Money of Great Britain
and in case the said John Caufeild should not Survive me then I Will that the said Sum of ten Pounds shall be paid to his Daughter Elizabeth Caufield

I also Give and Bequeath to William Wilmott of Chevening in the said County and Elizabeth his Wife a Guinea and half each to Purchase each a Mourning Ring

I also give and Bequeath to the Poor of the Parish of Shoreham in the said County the Sum of five Pounds to be given away in bread and distributed at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named
All which said several Legacies I Will shall be Paid within Six Months after my decease if possible

to my Nephew Richard Skinner of Carshalton in the County of Surry I give and Bequeath my Silver Watch and One Silver table Spoon
to my Niece Mary Skinner Sister of the said Richard Skinner I give and Bequeath one Silver tablet Spoon eight Silver tea Spoons my Silver tea Tongs and tea Chest

respecting my Funeral if I should die at Eynsford aforesaid I Will that John Gibson of Eynsford should make my Coffin of good Elm Board Painted black with light furniture
And if I should die in the Neighbourhood of Halsted I Will that the said John Caulfield should make my Coffin in the same manner aforesaid

I will that Mrs Beardsworth of Shoreham aforesaid Widow my serve my Funeral and that my body may be conveyed to Shoreham in a Hearse and then carried to the Ground and laid beside the Body of my Husband by six labouring Men namely William Ashdown William Wandsbury William Medhurst William Saker Robert Barham and Samuel Edwards all of Shoreham aforesaid if they should be living at the time of my Burial to whom I Give and Bequeath to each five shillings One Pot of Beer and Bread and Cheese

And lastly as to the Rest and Residue of my Estate whether Real or Personal Goods and Household Furniture of what nature or kind soever after Payment of the aforesaid Legacies and my Funeral Expences I give and Bequeath the same unto the said Richard Skinner and Mary Skinner to be equally divided between them

And I do hereby Appoint the said Richard Skinner and Mary Skinner Executor and Executrix Jointly of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills be me made
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the twenty third day of January One thousand eight hundred the Mark of Ann X Loveland

I Ann Loveland do this twenty Second day of May 1800 make and Publish this Codicil to my last Will and Testament that is to say

for the kindness I have Received from William Willmott and Elizabeth his Wife whose names are both mentioned in my said last Will and Testament I do Give and Bequeath to Maria Willmott Daughter of the said William and Elizabeth Willmott the Sum of twenty Pounds to be Paid by my Executors within six Months after my decease

And it is my desire that this my Present Codicil be made a part of my last Will and Testament to all Intents and Purposes
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the 22nd May 1800 the Mark of Ann X Loveland
