I give and bequeath all my plate linen china books pictures prints wines liquors and also such trinkets and ornaments of my person as I shall not specifically dispose of by my Will or any memorandum or codicil thereto unto my Niece Harriet Herbert
I also give and bequeath the following sums to the persons hereinafter named to be Paid within
three months after my decease (that is to say)
To my Friend and Goddaughter Frances Ann Purchas of Cambridge the sum of two hundred pounds
To my Niece Mary Ann Keeting (?) the sum of three hundred pounds
To my friend Sarah Maria Rice Widow the sum of one hundred pounds
To my friend Joshua Smith Simmons Smith Esquire the sum of one hundred pounds
To Charles Veasey the Elder of Godmanchester in the County of Huntingdon Esquire my Executor
hereinafter named the sum of one hundred pounds
To such one or more of my Servants William South Mary South and Harriet Morris as shall be
living with me at the time of my decease the sum of Fifty pounds each and suitable mourning
And subject to the payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expences and the several legacies given by this my Will or any Codicil thereto I give devise and bequeath all the Rest Residue and Remainder of my Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever and of what nature or kind soever in manner following (that is to say)
one sixth part thereof I give devise and bequeath unto my Nephew Dennis Herbert his heirs executors and administrators
one other sixth part thereof unto my Niece Charlotte Vavasour her heirs executors and administrators
one other sixth part thereof unto my Niece Rebecca Frances Morse her heirs executors and administrators
one other sixth part thereof unto my niece Lavinia Herbert her heirs executors and administrators
one other sixth part thereof unto my said Niece Harriet Herbert her heirs executors and administrators
And the remaining one sixth part thereof unto my niece Harriet Morton her heirs executors and administrators
And I hereby nominate and appoint the said Charles Veasey Executor of this my last Will and Testament and I direct my said Executor to deduct and retain all such costs charges and expences as he may be put unto in and about the proof and execution of this my Will
