This is the last Will of me the forseid Symonde Lynche made day, moneth and yere aboveseide as to the disposicion of my landes and ten[emen]tes Wt ther apprtenncs [appurtenances] which I have within the seid countie of Kent (that is to say)
First I will and ordayne by this my present Will that if the forseid Mercey my Wif now being in ower lady bandis? be wt a man childe that then
the seid childe shalhave all thos my landes and tentes withe ther apprtenncs Wherof I made unto my said Wif a Joynter [Jointure] (that is to
say) Whenne he comyth to the aige of xxvj yeris if my seid Wif then be not lyving or els after her decesse To have and to holde unto hym & to
the heyres of his body lawfully begoten
And if it happen the seid man childe to decesse wtoute [without] heires of his body Lawfully begotten I will that then all the seid Landis and
tents with ther apprtenncs after the decesse of my seid Wif shall remayne unto the seid Willm Lynche my sonne To have and to holde unto hym his
heyers and assignes for evrmore
And if my seid Wif be with a mayde childe I will that then the same mayde childe shalhave xlli to be delivred to her when she commyth to
her Lawfull aige or be maryede
Item I geve and bequeith unto the forseid Willm. Lynche my sonne all myne other landis and tents Withe ther apprtenncs To have and to holde unto
hym his heiris for evrmore
Provided always that if my forseid executors la[c]k eny thinge to p[er]forme my forseid legac[ie]s conteyned in my forseid testament and in this
my present Will and to pay my dettes that then my said executors shall lett to farme all my lands and tenements with thappurtenncs which I
have besydes my Wiffs Joynter And also the same landes being my Wiffs if she decesse in the meane tyme or season till soche [such] tyme or season
as my said legacs and dettis be fully paide And that in the meane season my said sonne shall take no profits of the said landis and tents
