In the name of God amen William Lynch late of Staple in the County of Kent gent[leman] uppon xxmas Eve Anno dini One thousand six hundred eighteene lienge sicke on his bed, but being of perfect memory did, by word of mouth, declare his last will and testament as followeth or the like effect, vizt.

He did give his whole estate to his eldest sonne John Lynch whome he did appoynt to be his Executor
and did bequeath and appoynt his said Executor to paye unto his daughter Anne Lynch the some of six hundred pounds
And to the three younger sonnes, namely William Lynch, Elmer Lynch and Theophilus Lynch one hundred pounds a peece

And willed that his said sonne Elmer Lynch should have the said hundreth pounds paid unto him when he should be a Master of Artes, and that in the meane tyme he should be maintayned by his said Executor
And that his other two sonnes William and Theophilus should have theire said porcons after they come out of there apprentishipps

Being present at the premisses divers credible witnesses
