unto Sir Philip Hales of Brinmer in the County of Somerset Baronet, Sir Brooke Bridges of Goodnestone in East Kent Baronet, William Hammond of St. Albans in East Kent Esqr. and the Reverend John Conant of Sandwich in the County of Kent to hold the same to them the said Sir Philip Hales, Sir Brooke Bridges, William Hammond and John Conant their Heirs Executors and Administrators respectively according to the natures of the several estates and Interests I may have therein Upon the following Trusts Intents and purposes (that is to say)
In Trust to permit and suffer my dear Wife Mary commonly called Lady Lynch to hold occupy possess and enjoy all and singular the Premisses hereby Devised and bequeathed and receive and take the Rents Issues Dividends Profits and Proceeds thereof to and for her own proper use and benefit for and during the term of her natural life without Impeachment of Waste
And from and after her decease Then In Trust to grant convey assign and transfer the whole and every part of the said Premisses unto and amongst such Person or Persons and subject to such Provisoes Conditions and Limitations as my said dear wife shall in her last Will and Testament in writing or by any Deed or Instrument under her hand and Seal duly executed and attested give devise bequeath limit direct or appoint of and concerning the same
And in default or for want of any such Disposition or appointment so to be made by my said dear wife as aforesaid and as to all and singular or such part of parts of my Estate and Effects above devised and bequeathed whereof no Gift Devise bequest or Appointment shall happen to be made by her as abovementioned Upon Trust to grant convey assign and transfer the same and every part thereof unto and to the only proper and behoof of my dear Brother Doctor John Lynch Prebendary of Canterbury his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns respectively forever and upon no other Trust Intent or Purpose
And I do hereby make and constitute my dear said Wife Mary sole Executrix of this my last will hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time heretofore made
In Witness I have to each Sheet of this my last Will and Testament (contained in two Sheets of Paper) and also to a Duplicate hereof set my Hand
and Seal this fourteenth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty three

This Will was proved at London on the tenth day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty six before the Right Worshipful Peter Calvert Doctor of Laws, Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, lawfully constituted by the Oath of Mary Lynch Widow the Relict of the Deceased and sole Executrix named in the said Will to whom Administration was granted of all and singular the Goods Chattells and Credits of the said deceased having been first sworn by Commission duly to administer
On the 16th day of June 1809 Adm[inistrati]on (with the Will annexed) of the Goods Chattells and Credits of Sir William Lynch Knight of the most
Noble order of the Bath late of Groves in the Parish of Staple in the County of Kent decs. [deceased] left unadm[inistered] by Dame Mary
Lynch Widow decd. whilst living Relict & sole Executrix and Universal Legatee for life named in the said Will was granted to William Hammond Esqr.
one of the surviving Universal Legatees who was named in the said Will having been first sworn by Common [Commission] duly to administer
Lewis Cage Esquire the nephew and sole Executor of the Will of the sd. Dame Mary Lynch Widow died in her life time
On the 28th Febr[uar]y 1833. Admon. of the Goods Chattells & credits of Sir William Lynch Late of Groves in the Parish of Staple in the County
of Kent Knight of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath decd. left unadministered as well by Dame Mary Lynch Widow whilst living the Relict, sole
Executrix and Universal Legatee for life named in the said decd. Will, as by William Hammond Esqr. decd. whilst living one of the surviving
Universal Legatees In Trust named in the said Will was granted to Thomas Crossman of Thornbury in the County of Gloucester Gentleman as a
Person for the purpose named by and on the part and behalf of The Reverend Robert Knight of Newton Kottage? [Newtown] in the County of
Glamorgan Clerk limited so far only as Con(cerning?) all the Right Title and Interest of him the said deceased in and to certain
Manors Advowsons Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments and Revisions with there Appurt[enance]s in the County of Glamorgan and comprized in a
certain Term of 1,000 years and the residue and remainder of the said Term of 1,000 years therein granted when the said
deceased by a certain Indenture of Settlement dated the 24th day of January 1759 and now to come
and unspecified and all benefit and advantage to be had received and taken therefrom but no further
or otherwise or in any other manner whatsoever having been first sworn by Comon duly to administer
The said Dame Mary Lynch made her Will and appointed Lewis Cage Esquire sole Executor who died in her lifetime
