In the name of God Amen
I Daniel Mannooch of Litle Charte in the County of Kent Yeoman benig ni [being in] my sound mind & p’fect Inderstanding make my last will and testament ni [in] manner and forme follownig (that is to say)
first I comende my Soule nito [into] the hands of allmightie God assuredly trusting in and through the onely meritts of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and redeemour to be saved And my body I comitt to the Earth decently to be buryed by my Executrix hereinafter named and my temporall estate I give devise and bequeath as hereinafter is expressed menconed and declared (that is to say)

I will that all my stocke goods & chattells (other than what will be needfull to stocke and crop my farme att Hooke & the Lands I have hired of Sr. [Sir] George Wheeler Knt [Knight] called Co...t Lands and hook wood in Chareing in the said County shall be sold by my Executrix hereinafter named

& also she shall & may sell so much of my household goods as she shall think fitt
& all the moneys ariseing upon such sale of my stocke and household goods I will shall be equally paid to my children as they shall severall(y) come their sevrall & respective age & ages of eighteen years
& in the meane tyme my will is that all the money ariseing upon the sale of my stock & goods shall be putt out & kept at Interest & the same Interest .... I will my wife shall receive for & towards the educateing & bringing up of my children till theire sevrall ages or respective ages of eighteen years

Item when my youngest child shall come to the age of eighteen thereof the Legacy before given then I will that my Executrix shall have ten pounds during her natural life to be paid to her half yearely by equal porcons by my children each to bear an equall parte & share therein out of their respective Legacyes

Item after the decease of my Father I give all my Lands in Warehorne in the said County of Kent to my Son Edward & his heires but my will is that Mary my Loveing Wife shall take up and enjoy the rents thereof till my said Son Edward shall come to his age of one & twenty yeares for the better enabling thereto bringing up my children

Item I make Mary my loveing wife sole Executrix of this my last will & testament
& I desire & request my loveing freinds Thomas Hodges of Warehorne and Mr. John Elmestone of Egerton to bee the Overseers to this my will & to aid and assist my wife in the sellings of my stock and goods to the best advantage and for their pains & care to be taken herein I give them five pounds apeece to be paid to them by my Executrix

Item I give to my eldest daughter twenty shillings to be paid to her within three months next after my decease besides her share before given her

Item all the Stocke corne & graine that my Executrix shall have to stocke & crop my Farme att Hooke & the lands I have hired of Sr. George Wheeler above shall be apprized & the vallue thereof shall after the decease of my wife be equally divided amongst all my children or else shall have the stocke & goods that my said wife shall leave at her decease

Item I make void all former wills by me made declaring this to be my last will & Testament

In Witness whereof I the said Daniell Manooch have hereunto sett my hand and Seale dated the two & twentieth day of December in the year of our Lord Christ one thousand six hundred ninety & four
