In the name of God Amen The Twentieth day of February in the eighteene yeare of the raigne of our Soveraigne Lord James by the grace of God of England, France and Ireland, King, defender of the faith, vizt., and of Scotland the four and fiftie, Anno dini 1620
I Thomas Marshall of Cranbrook in the County of Kent, In[n]keeper being sicke in body but of good and perfect mind, I give the Lord prayse for it, doe here make and ordayne this my last will and testament in man[n]er and forme followinge
First I Will and bequeath my soule into the hands of Allmightie god my creator, through Jesus Christ my all Sufficient Savyour and Redeemer Also I Will my body to be buryed in the Churchyard of Cranbrook

Item I give two my sonn Robert Marshall one peice of Silver conteyning fortie shillings being of the Parish wyne and a joyned chest
Item I give unto my sonne William Marshall those things hereunder written
first I give him one Joyned bedstedle with a bed and boulster and all the furniture thereunto belonging, standing in the Hall Chamber wherein I lye Also I give him two joyned tables and frames with two formes standing in the same Chamber
Now I give unto him my sonne William one other joyned bedstedle & flocke bed and boldster, withall the furniture thereunto belonging standing in the middle Chamber Also I give unto him more, a long ioyned table and frame with a forme standing in the same Chamber which I bought of Benjamen Doglas Moreover I give unto him One Cubbord standing at Robert Chenkars More I give to him my sonne William, one dozen of Damask napkins, one Damaske Table Cloathes and a Damaske towell Also I give unto hym more, foure payer of sheets Further more I give unto my said sonne William one dozen of pewter

Item I give unto Dennis my wife, whom I doe make and appoynt my sole Executrix All the use of my good(s), Chattels & moveables, shee paying my debts and legacyes

And in wittnesse of this my deed, I have here out set my hand and seale, the day and yeare first above written
