In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth Maschall of the parish of Goudherst in the Countye of Kent widow being sicke of body but of a sound and perfect memory praise given god therefore This present tenth day of March in the yeare of our Lord Christ according to the computation of the Church of England one thousand six hundred and fifty doe make and ordaine this my present last will and testament in manner and forme following (that is to say)
First and principally I comend my soule in to the hands of Almighty god my Creator hopeing and assuredly beleiveing it shalbe reunited to my body, and both received into eternall blisse and happines, And that in and through the only merritts death and bitter passion of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ And my body I recomend to the earth from whence it came to be decently buried in the parish Church yard of the parish of Goudherst aforesaid at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named

Item I give and bequeath unto twenty poore aged people the sume of tenn shillings together to be distributed to and amongst them at the day and time of my buriall they being inhabitants of the said parish at the discretion of my Executors hereafter named.

Item I give and bequeath unto Edward Austen my Kinseman and Robert Hiwood my Kinseman All those severall messuages Lands and premisses lyeing and being in the parishes of Hetcorne [Headcorn] and Horsemanden in the said County of Kent to have and to hold to them and such their heires forever in such manner and forme, and according to the Contents purport and true intent and meaneing of a certaine fine I levied and heretofore acknowledged to them, or for their uses and behoofes and not otherwise, as relation and referrence had to the said Fine and indentures to leade the use of the same doth and may appeare

Item I give and bequeath, unto Henry Wen my Kinseman the sume of five shillings to be paid unto him by my Executors hereafter named within one month next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto Henry Wenn Junr sonne of the foresaid Henry Wenn And to Jane Wenn daughter of the said Henry Wenn, and to each of them the sume of two shillings and six pence to be paid unto them within one month next after my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto Mary Haynes my servant the sume of twenty shillings and my blacke scarfe and one lether chest now being and remaineing in the hall Chamber and my redd petticoate to be paid unto her and delivered within one month next after my decease by my executors hereafter named.

Item I give and bequeath unto Margarett the wife of Edward Worseden my Kinsewoman the sume of tenn shillings to be paid unto her within one month next after my decease by my executors hereafter named
Item I give and bequeath unto Ann Bonnicke the wife of Richard Bonnicke the sume of tenn shillings to be paid unto her by my Executors hereafter named within one month next after my decease
Item I give & bequeath unto Margarett Francis the wife of Lewknor Francis the sume of two shillings & six pence to be paid unto her within one month next after my decease by my executors hereafter named
Item I give and bequeath unto my brother Barnard Meare and Ann his wife and to each of them the sume of five shillings, to be paid unto him and her within one month next after my decease by my executors hereafter named.

Item I give and bequeath unto Edward Austen my Kinseman and Robert Hiwood my Kinseman, my debts funerall expences and legacies first paid and discharged, all and singular my goods and chattells and howsholdstuffe whatsoever equally to be devided betweene them
which said Edward Austen and Robert Hiwood I hereby make and ordaine full and whole Executors of this my present last will and testamt hereby utterly revokeing & disannulling all former and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made

In wittness whereof to this my present last will and testament conteyneing two sheetes of paper I have setto my marke to the first sheete thereof And to the last sheete thereof my marke and seale dated the day and yeare first before written Elizabeth Maschall her marke.

This will was proved at London before Sr Nathaniel Brent Knight Doctor of Laws Master or Keeper of the Prerogative Court the sixteenth day of June in the yeare of our Lord god one thousand six hundred Fifty one by the oathes of Edward Austen and Robert Heywood executors named in the said will to whom was comitted Administration of all and singular the goods chattells and debts of the said deceased they being first legally sworne by Comission well and truely to administer the same.

Elizabeth Maschall was bured 15 March 1650/51, Goudhurst, widow of Richard. Richard was buried 20 March 1648/49, Goudhurst.
Richard Mascall, widower, married Elizabeth Stephens, widow, by Licence 30 October 1620, Goudhurst.
Margaret Maskall married Lewkner Frauncis 17 January 1613/14, Goudhurst.
