In the name of God Amen the fifteenth day of February in the Sixth yeare of the Raigne of our Sovraigne Lord and Lady William and Mary by the
grace of God of England Scottland France and Ireland King & Queen Defender of the faith etc. Annoq. dini 1693[/4]
I Richard Mason of the Towne of Favrsham in the County of Kent Cordwayner being Sicke & weake in body but of p[er]fect mind memory and
understanding (God be praised therefore) do make & ordaine this my pr[e]sent last will & Testament in manner and forme Following (that is to say)
First and principally I Resigne up my Soule into the hands of Allmighty God that gave it me hopeinge assuredly trusting to receive free remission
of all my Sins onely in & through the meritorious death & passion of my alone Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ & my body to the earth from whence
it came to be decently interred at the discretion of mine Executrix hereinafter named and as for that part & porcon of worldly goods which it hath
pleased Allmighty God of his infinite bounty to bestowe upon me I give devise & bequeath the same in manner hereinafter expressed
Item I give & devise unto my son Thomas Mason of the Towne of Favrsham aforesaid Cordwayner to him & his heires for ever all that my
messuage or tenement and barne one stable & all other the outhouses with the appurrt[enance]s & six and thirty acres of Land lyeing & being in
Hearne Hill in the same County of Kent Subject notwithstanding to one Annuity or yearly Rent chardge of nine pounds p. Ann. payable out of the
said messuage and prmisses unto Bennet Conningsby of the Citty of London widow
And of this my prsent last will and Testament I doe hereby nominate & appoint my wife Elizabeth full & sole Executrix
In Wittness whereof I the said Richard Mason have to this my p[re]sent last will & Testament set my hand & Seale the day & yeare first above
written

Note: Richard Mason, Householder, was buried at St. Mary of Charity, Faversham, Kent on 25th February 1693/94.
