In the name of God Amen I Mary Mason of that part of the Parish of Ospringe that is within the Liberty of the Town of Faversham in the County of Kent Widow and Relict of Lieutenant Charles Mason deceased being Sick and weak in Body but of Sound and Perfect mind and memory (praised be Almighty God therefore) do make publish and Declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say)
First I resign my Soul into the hands of Almighty God hoping to Obtain full pardon and forgiveness of all my Sins through the Mediation of my Blessed Saviour and Redeemer Jesus Christ and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be Interred in Christian burial and as my Temporal Estate I dispose thereof as followeth (that is to say)

Imprimis my will and mind is that all my Just debts be fully paid and satisfied but more particularly and before all others what I now doe or shall at My decease owe or be indebted unto my very Good Friends Jane Prett of Ospringe aforesaid Widow and Michael Hannah of the same Victualler who have Assisted and Subsisted me in my Sickness

Al the rest and residue of my Personal Estate after payment of my debts and Funeral Charges (if any there be) I give and bequeath unto Susan Gill Widow and Relict of Thomas Gill late of Canterbury Butcher deceased and to her Daughter Elizabeth Equally Share and part alike and to the Intent the said Jane Prett and Michael Hannah may be fully paid what is or shall be due to them before any other of my Creditors

I do hereby make nominate Constitute and appoint them the said Michael Hannah and Jane Prett Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament revoking all former Wills and Testaments whatsoever

In Witness whereof I the said Mary Mason have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this Seventh day of November in the Third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King George over Great Britain &c. Anno Dini 1716.
