In the name of God Amen I Richard Mason of the parish of Chart next Sutton Vallence in the County of Kent Husbandman do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in maner and form following
Imprimis first and principally I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body to be buried in Christian like maner at the Discrecon of my Executrix hereafter nomenated trusting in and through the onely meritoriouse death and passion of my Saviour Jesus Christ to to receive free pardon and Forgiveness of all my Sins

Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Mary Lowe Five pounds to be paid to her by my Executrix within twelve months after my decease

Item all the rest of my goods Cattles and Chattells ready money and household stuffe whatsoever after my Funerall Expences are paid I give unto my Loving Wife Susane and do make her my Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

Probatum fuit: 11th December 1722

Note: Richard Mason was buried at St. Michael, Chart Sutton, Kent on 12th November 1722, with the Affidavit [buried in woollen] on 14th Nov.
