In the name of God Amen I George Mason of Aldington in the County of Kent Yeoman being at this time weak in Body but of sound and perfect Mind and Memory (praised be Almighty God therefore) do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and ffom following (that is to say)
First I commend my Soul unto the Hands of Almighty God my Maker hoping to obtain Remission and pardon of all my Sins and my Body I leave to the Earth to receive a decent and Christian Burial at the Discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named and as touching that worldly Estate both real and personal which by the Blessing of God I now enjoy I give and dispose thereof as followeth

Imprimis I give and devise to my loving Wife Margaret All that my Messuage or tenement Barn Stable Outhouses and Buildings thereunto belonging and all those Seven peices or parcells of arable meadow and pasture Land thereunto likewise belonging containing by Estimation Seven Acres more or less with the Appurtenances situat(e) lying and being in Aldington aforesaid and now in my own Occupation all which I give to my now loving Wife Margaret and her Heirs and Assigns forever

Also it is my Mind and Will that my loving Brother Thomas Belsey Shepherd at the Parish of Huffam [Hougham, near Dover] should be aiding and assisting to my said Wife in the Execution of this my said Will
Also I give and bequeath to my Brother Booths two Sons viz. Stephen and Thomas the Sum of one Shilling apeice to be paid them by my Executrix at my burying

And I make and ordain my loving Wife Margaret my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament contained in this Sheet of Paper and I do revoke all former Wills by me made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament

In Witness whereof I the said George Mason have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this Sheet of Paper set my Hand and Seal Dated the twenty fourth Day fo April in the Year of our Lord according to the English Account 1732

Signed Sealed published and declared by the said George Mason the Testator for and as his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have hereunto in his presence subscribed our Names as Witnesses to the same

Notes:
George Mason of Aldington, Bachelor and Margaret Wyborne of Newchurch, Widow, were married at St. Antony, Alkham, Kent on 30th May 1713.
George Mason was buried at St. Martin, Aldington on 31st August 1732.
