Also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Augustine Philpott the Sum of thirty pounds of lawfull money of Great Britain to be paid to him by my Executor hereinafter named so soon as possible Also I do give and bequeath unto my said Nephew Augustine Philpott all my late Husband’s wearing apparrel of all Sorts that remain undisposed of to be delivered to him by my Executor forthwith after my Decease
Also I give and bequeath unto my good Friend Anne Cornish of Chandlers near Black Fryers Church, London, one Guinea my best Suit of Cloths and Suit of headcloths with a Bread Ground worked Lace, one pair of Rusles, one plain Muslin apron, two large muslin Hankerchiefs my two best holland shifts and to her Husband John Cornish one Guinea of lawfull money of Great Brittain
Also I give and bequeath unto my Couzin Ann Wilson Wife of ___ Wilson of Hearn in the said County the Sum of One Guinea of like money
and to her Son John Wilson One Guinea
I give and bequeath unto my very good friend and Neihbour the Wife of Master Vincent Williams these two Books to witt Saint Austins
Mediations and Sherlocks Treatise upon Death
and to my good friend Elizabeth, Wife of Daniel Jermin these two Books (to wit) De Drelincourt against the Fear of Death and Horne
crucifyed Jesus
Also I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Barnes of Faversham aforesaid Spinster a cypher Ring, one dozen of diaper Napkins and one diaper
Table cloth marked with M B and one of my Great Bibles
Also I give and bequeath unto my esteemed friend Mistress Mary Canes? of Brealey of Boughton under the Blean in the said County one Guinea
to buy her a Ring to wear in Remembrance of me
Also I give and bequeath unto twenty poor Widows or other poor people that shall live in or behind the Middle Row in Faversham aforesaid at my
decease ten shillings to be distributed amongst them by my Executor as he shall think fitt within fourteen years next after my decease
Also my Will and Mind is that my Executor hereinafter named do order and direct my Body to be interred in the Middle Grave on the North side of
the Belfry in Faversham Churchyard which for several Years past I have caused to be raised and kept up and that the usual prayers be read in the
church imiddatly [immediately] before my Interment
Also my Will and Mind us that my Executor shall cause a Rail to be sett up or erected over mine and the
two Graves one of each side thereof with such Inscription or Inscriptions thereon as are in the like cales?
Also I give and bequeath all my ready (money) after my Debts Legacys funeral and other incident Charges in proving this my Will or otherwise being are fully paid satysfyed or deducated unto my said Kinsman Augustine Philpott and my Niece Elizabeth Wife of John Skinner of Faversham aforesaid Labourer equally to be divided between them share and share alike
Also I give the Rest Residue and Remainder of (my) Goods chattles Plate Linnen and personal Estate
whatsoever not hereinbefore otherwise disposed to be delivered to her my Executor hereinafter named within one Month next after my Decease
Also my Will and Mind is that my Executor shall not be answerable for any Losses that shall happen by
the Insolvency of any of my debtors but that all and every such Losses shall be borne by the said Augustine Philpott
Also I give and bequeath unto my very good friend George Smith of Faversham aforesaid Gentleman one Guinea to buy him a Ring to wear in
Remembrance of me
And I do hereby make nominate constitute and appoint the said George Smith full and sole Executor of this my last Will and
Testament hereby revoking annulling and making void all other Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made
and declaring this only to be my last Will and Testament contained in two sheets of paper to each of the said sheets sett my
hand and seal the Twelth Day of March in the Twelth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great
Brittain France and Ireland, King Defender of the Faith and soforth and in the year of our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and thirty Eight

The above registered (Will) of Mary Mason deceased was proved the 27th day of December 1739 before the Revd. James Henstridge, Clerk, lawfull Surrogate to the worshipfull George Lee, Doctor of Laws, Official General to the Revd. the Archdeacon of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of George Smith Executor herein named to whom Administration of the Goods Chattles and Creddits of the said deceased was committed, he being sworne well and truly to perform the same

Mary Mason was buried at St. Mary of Charity, Faversham, Kent, on 24th December 1739.
Mary is the Widow of Thomas Mason, Cordwainer of Faversham, Kent, buried there 20th January 1720/21.
