In the name of God Amen I Dinah Mason of Biddenden in the County of Kent Spinster being sick and Weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and Memory (praised be God) do this fourteenth day of May in the Twelfth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith and so forth and in the year of our Lord Christ one Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Nine make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in maner Following (that is to say)
First and principally I recommend my Soul to Almighty God who gave it and my Body in hopes of a Joyfull resurrection through the alone Merits Death and Passion of my Blessed Redeemer Jesus Christ I comit to the Earth to be decently buried by my Executor hereinafter Named and it is my Will and Desire that he shall Give Gloves to all the Persons that have watched with me during my long Illness And as touching that small Worldly Estate Wherewith the Lord in mercy hath been pleased to bless me I Give and Dispose thereof as Followeth

Also I Give and Devise unto my Loving Brother Zebulon Mason and his assigns for and during the term of his Natural Life All that my Messuage or Tenement wherein I now dwell together with the Shop Garden and all the appurtenances to the said Messuage or Tenement belonging or appertaining Situate lying and being in the aforesaid Parish of Biddenden

and from and after the decease of my said Brother Zebulon Mason I Give and Devise the said Messuage or Tenement with the Shop Garden and all the appurtenances belonging unto my Nephew Edward Mason (one of the Sons of my Brother Edward Mason) and to is Heirs and assigns for ever

Also I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother Zebulon Mason Sole Executor of this my Last Will and testament
And I give and Bequeath unto my said Executor all my household goods and Implements of household stuff and all other my Goods and Chattels Whatsoever he paying my Debts Funeral Expences and the charge of proving this my last Will

And in consideration that I have given unto my said Brother Zebulon my Messuage with the Shop Garden and Appurtenances for his Life I do hereby direct and strictly Charge and require my said Brother Zebulon and provide for my said Nephew Edward Mason during his two years he hath to serve his Apprenticeship with Richard Hoyman [or Foyman] all such Cloathes both Linnen and Woollen as shall be necessary for him to have and at the End of his apprenticeship to cloath him in a decent maner

And Lastly I do hereby revoke and make void all former Wills by me made and declare this to be my last Will and Testament

Admon. [Administration] With the Before Registered Will of Dinah Mason annexed, was on the fifteenth day of October 1768 before the Reverend John Gostling Arch Surrogate to the Worshipful Francis Simpson, Doctor of Law, Official General to the Reverend the Archdeacon of Canterbury, lawfully constituted granted to Edward Mason Nephew of the dec[ease]d and sole Executor of the Will of Zebulon Mason who died without proving this Will, he being first Sworn duly to Administer.

Notes:
Dinah Mason was buried at All Saints, Biddenden, Kent, on 29th May 1739.
She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Mason, baptised at Biddenden on 15th October 1693.
